I’m often asked what size I cut my card layers. I almost always make a standard A2 card which is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, or 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Here are layers, in 1/8″ increments, with the same dimensions as an A2 card.
Layer sizes in inches:
- 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
- 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
- 4 x 5-1/4
- 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
- 3-3/4 x 5
- 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
- 3-1/2 x 4-3/4
- 3-3/8 x 4-5/8
- 3-1/4 x 4-1/2
- 3-1/8 x 4-3/8
- 3 x 4-1/4
- 2-7/8 x 4-1/8
- 2-3/4 x 4
- 2-5/8 x 3-7/8
- 2-1/2 x 3-3/4
- 2-3/8 x 3-5/8
- 2-1/4 x 3-1/2
- 2-1/8 x 3-3/8
- 2 x 3-1/4
- 1-7/8 x 3-1/8
- 1-3/4 x 3
- 1-5/8 x 2-7/8
- 1-1/2 x 2-3/4
- 1-3/8 x 2-5/8
- 1-1/4 x 2-1/2
- 1-1/8 x 2-3/8
- 1 x 2-1/4
- 7/8 x 2-1/8
- 3/4 x 2
- 5/8 x 1-7/8
- 1/2 x 1-3/4
- 3/8 x 1-5/8
- 1/4 x 1-1/2
- 1/8 x 1-3/8
I’m sure you’ll never need to cut layers as small as the ones at the bottom of this list, but I thought I’d add them anyway, because you just never know.
Thank you and Sweet Stamping!
