Today’s card offers a sneak peek of two stamp sets from the new 2018 Holiday catalog: Buffalo Check and Homemade Kindness. It’s a very simple card. It features a plaid shirt pocket with a note in it. The note wishes the recipient a cozy season, which I thought was perfect for an warm flannel shirt card.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

Basic Black card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
Merry Merlot CS layer cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
Merry Merlot CS cut to 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
Whisper White Cs cut to 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card
pocket from the stamped Merry Merlot CS layer **

Stamped with the Buffalo Check background stamp:

Assembled the card:

burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
Merry Merlot CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
pocket adhered onto the front of the card base, over the hole where it was cut out from the Merry Merlot CS layer, using Stampin’ Dimensionals
sentiment piece glued onto the small piece of Merry Merlot CS
3 True Gentleman buttons adhered to the Merry Merlot CS layer using Mini Glue Dots
4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
