Today’s card may look a big fussy to make, but it really isn’t. I stamped the images from the Love What You Do stamp set, then glued down some 1/8″ strips of card stock woven together at the corners. Easy peasy!

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

• Fresh Fig card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
• Very Vanilla CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 pieces)
• Fresh Fig (4 pieces) and Mint Macaron (8 pieces)  CS cut to 1/8″ strips about 6″ long

Stamped with the Love What You Do stamp set:

• color swath in Mint Macaron ink, stamped off, onto one of the Very Vanilla CS pieces
• flowers in Fresh Fig ink, stamped off, over the color swath
• flowers in Fresh Fig ink, stamped off, onto the other Very Vanilla CS piece

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• 1/8″ strips laid out onto the front Very Vanilla CS layer
• center portions of strips glued into place
• ends of strips woven together, then glued into place
• excess bits of strips trimmed away from the edges of the layer
• layer glued onto the front of the card base
• second Very Vanilla CS piece glued onto the inside of the card base
