This is my second project made with the new Friendly Wishes stamp set. You can see the first one here.
Grey and yellow is a very popular color combination. It’s good for both male and female projects. I like the way Crushed Curry looks with Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. And I LOVE the new Neutrals Color Collection DSP Stack. The new patterns are so fun and pretty! Here I’ve used one of the Smoky Slate pieces. The only other color is the tiny Whisper White heart made with the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.
And how about that sentiment? Wouldn’t you love to receive this card from someone?
Of course, I initially thought about putting the sentiment in the center of the card, but it just didn’t work for me. So I used Brian King’s patented squint method and moved it around until it felt right. (I guess I owe Brian a nickel now.) The rule of thirds must really be right, because that’s where it ended up.
Rule of thirds – Divide an image into thirds vertically and horizontally. The rule states that the points where the lines intersect are the best places for your focal point.
