CS – Card Stock

DSPDesigner Series Paper – the patterned papers offered by Stampin’ Up!

Embossing – a process to create a raised design on paper.

  • Dry embossing – creating a raised design by pressing into the paper with something such as a stylus or embossing folder.
  • Heat embossing – creating a raised design by melting embossing powder on the paper.

Rule of Thirds – a guideline which applies to the composition of visual images. See my post about it here.

SBN – simple but nice

Stamping Off – Inking a stamp, then stamping on a scratch piece of paper before stamping on your project. This gives lighter ink coverage on your project.

TIEF – Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
