Here’s what I made:
S
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:
- Rococo Rose card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Basic White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Hearts & Kisses stamp set:
- sentiment in Versamark ink onto a scrap of Vellum, then heat embossed it in white
Cut using the Many Hearts Dies:
- sentiment
Cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies:
- a piece of Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Embossed using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder:
- front of the card base
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- sentiment heart glued onto the DSP layer
- white twine run scallop on the left side of the vellum heart, then wrapped around the front of the card base
- 2 Heart charms strung onto the twine
- twine run through a scallop on the right side of the vellum heart, then tied in a bow
- a Mini Glue Dot rolled into a tiny “log” an placed under the bow using my Take Your Pick tool
- Basic White CS glued onto the inside of the card base (I took the photos before I did this step.)
If you want , you can use a Mini Glue Dot to secure the Heart Charms, but I found the twine holds them in place nicely:

Thanks for stopping by today, and Sweet Stamping!
I love the different texture of the layers! And the added metal hearts are perfect.
Thanks, Jackie!
So pretty Candy. I like the embossed white sentiment on the vellum, and the flowers and the hearts, and the color, and, and… Really cute.
Thanks, Linda!
Such a sweet card! Love everything about it. Like the hearts and the use of vellum – die cut and embossing. Nice touch.
Thank you, Sheryl!
I love a vellum heart, Candy, and this one is a stunner against that paper. I absolutely love how you’ve added the heart charms to your twine – such a fun way to showcase them. Great project, my friend!
Thanks, B! <3
Galentine’s Day. That is innovative. Those little hearts on the twine are great.
Thanks, Ann!
Such a sweet card.
Thanks, Wendie!
Wow, this is great. I love the vellum heart!
Thanks, Renae!
Ahhh! I love the vellum heart and the heart charms! Beautiful, Candy!
Thank you, Julie!
I love how you have cleverly attached the vellum heart! The addition of the charms is the sweetest!
Thank you Sheryl!
Such a sweet card!!! I absolutely LOVE the doubled Heart Charms!!!
Thanks, Joanne!
I completely missed this sentiment and finally got it when I saw your close-up. Love it! I really like the way the heart charms just fit so perfectly on the twine.
Thanks, Sue!
Who doesn’t need a good Galentine’s card? This is so girlie with the vellum, bow and heart charms x 2! Just perfect and adorable!
Thank you, Pammy!
