Welcome to the February Pals Blog Hop. This month we are sharing what we love – our favorite Stampin’ Up! products and our favorite crafting techniques.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Peggy Noe at prettypapercards.com. Use the full lineup below to move along from blog to blog so you see all of the new projects.

Choosing a favorite Stampin’ Up! Product or technique is impossible. I love it all! So I decided to go with whatever mood struck me when I sat down to craft. Actually, I was inspired by the colors in this month’s blog hop badge, at the top of all of our posts today.

2015-02-10 pals blog hop card D

This card uses some wonderful tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Stampin’ Scrub, Stampin’ Mist, Grid Paper, and Bone Folder. I consider using the Stamp-a-ma-jig a technique in itself. And who doesn’t love heat embossing? I think we’ve all experienced the excitement of watching the dull powder magically transform into a glossy, raised design. The Stampin’ Scrub and Stampin’ Mist are absolutely essential for any stamping project – the stamps are cleaned thoroughly and conditioned at the same time. I use my bone folder as much as, or maybe even more than, my Paper Snips! And I always create on the Grid Paper – what a fabulous invention!

You’ll see that I have washi tape in the list at the bottom of this post, even though you don’t see it on the card. That’s because I used it more as a tool on this card, to hold the card in place while I worked on it, then removed it.

Check back for more details on how I used these tools.

The next stop is Jane Knudsen at see jane stamp on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you next month.

Sweet Stamping!
