Here’s the first of two Make & Takes from our April Sweethearts meeting. (See my post about the meeting here.) It’s a quick and easy project and it makes a great gift. Or keep it for yourself to jot down thoughts.
The Kraft Grid Journal is 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. We cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 3″ x 5″, rounded the two right corners with the Project Life Corner Punch, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. We stamped three images from the Mosaic Madness stamp set onto another piece of Whisper White card stock in Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Tempting Turquoise; then we punched them out with the Mosaic Punch. We glued them to the embossed piece, then glued the whole thing to the front of the journal. A piece of Melon Mambo 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon finishes off the left side – we simply tied it around the front cover of the book. The ribbon can be used as a bookmark.
