At first I wasn’t sure I would like or need the new Number of Years stamp set, or the Large Numbers Framelits Dies, or the bundle. But I was so wrong! Especially after I saw all the great things you can do with them.
For today’s card, I inked up the number stamps in Old Olive ink, then spritzed them with water before stamping onto Whisper White card stock. I love the mottled look the spritzing created. I cut the numbers out with the coordinating dies, and attached them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
This is a perfect time to use the skinny outer rim of your Stampin’ Dimensionals pack. I used scissors to cut some skinny strips for the backs of the numbers. You can also use the hexagonal Dimensionals themselves and just cut them in half, or thirds, or even fourths, depending on how narrow your image is.
I actually had this card sitting around for a while because I couldn’t decide how to finish it off once the base was done. The numbers were perfect!
The card base is Old Olive card stock, and the front panel is two pieces from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper stack. Along the intersection of the two pieces of DSP, I glued a a piece of Old Olive Baker’s Twine and a piece of Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine.
Now I just have to wait until someone I know turns 25 or has a silver anniversary!
Here’s what I used:
