Today’s card features the new Great Joy stamp set. It contains lovely, simple images that are ready to be colored in, but that also look great plain. I chose to color in the two images on today’s card. I used Stampin’ Blends Markers and the new Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Shaded Spruce card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 pieces)
- Cherry Cobbler CS cut to 3-1/2″ x 2″
Stamped with the Great Joy stamp set:
- ornament in Memento black ink onto the Whisper White CS layer
- sentiment in Memento black ink onto the Cherry Cobbler CS layer
Cut using the Detailed Trio Punch:
- rounded all 4 corners of the two Whisper White CS layers and the card base
- rounded the two left corners of the Cherry Cobbler CS
Colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers:
- ornament in Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce
Colored using Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint:
- sentiment and ornament cap
- NOTE: I used a dry Aqua Painter with the paint.
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- poked two tiny holes by the ornament hook
- threaded a piece of gold metallic thread through the holes, and adhered the ends to the layer using Snail or Tear & Tape, being sure it will be covered by the sentiment
- Whisper White CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- sentiment glued onto the Whisper White CS layer and card base
- plain Whisper white CS glued onto the inside of the card base
