Every June some friends and I get together for a crafting retreat. I always look forward to seeing everyone’s wonderful creations. Between us all, we scrapbook, make cards, quilt, do cross stitch, draw, assemble puzzles, and just about anything else you can think of.
We live all over the country, so we take turns hosting. Deborah Vanderburg, a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator who lives in Plano, TX, is our host this year. We are spending our time in Plano at Magnolia Escape.
Today I’m thrilled to be able to share some of Deborah’s creations. She has been working on cards for her mother to send through out the year, and has been trying to use up some of her retired products. The DSPs are retired, but many of the other products (listed below) are current. Just look at what she has come up with so far. She made multiples of each design.
I especially like the scoring she did on the Chocolate Chip masculine birthday card. She made some horizontal lines on the card front with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. How easy is that? But it adds so much to the card.
This is a mix and match set. Each card has space to attach one of the sentiments.
I hope this inspires you look at your supplies and think of ways to use them with the new products.
