In keeping with the theme of the last couple weeks, today I’m sharing another project I made for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event using the Country Club Suite. And again, I used these new products with a stamp set from the Annual Catalog; this time I used A Good Man. The sentiment seemed so appropriate for this golf themed suite. Everyone has their own favorite way of relaxing. This card is perfect for someone who enjoys relaxing on the golf course.

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:

  • Night of Navy card stock (CS) layer cut to 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″
  • Garden Green CS layer cut to 3″ x 4-1/2″
  • Country Club Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ (golf bags)
  • DSP layer cut to 2″ x 6″

Stamped with the A Good Man stamp set:

  • sentiment in Garden Green ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Thick CS
  • NOTE: The sentiment is in one line on the stamp. I inked up one word at a time so I could stamp them individually in a stack.

Cut using the Golf Club Dies:

  • sentiment
  • laurel from a scrap of Garden Green CS

Assembled the card:

  • burnished the fold in the note card base with a Bone Folder
  • 2″ DSP layer glued diagonally onto the larger DSP layer, and the excess trimmed from the sides
  • larger DSP layer glued onto the Garden Green CS layer
  • Garden Green CS layer glued onto the Night of Navy CS layer
  • Night of Navy CS layer glued onto the front of the note card base
  • sentiment adhered onto the diagonal DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • laurel glued around the sentiment
