On this date in 1960, a red haired Georgia peach was born. She grew up to be an avid paper crafter, and a brunette. Today she is an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and has a small stamping business called Stamp Candy. (Hint, it’s me!)
To commemorate the occasion, I’m sharing a card made by Judy Newsome, a member of my team of Candy Hearts. She has always been a wonderful seamstress, and now that she’s a paper crafter, her great eye for color and design is even more evident. This card was Judy’s swap card at our June team meeting. Yes, she made a bunch of these, not just one. I’m sure it took her a good bit of time to arrange all the little pieces, because I now how meticulous she is. Isn’t this a beautiful card?
Here’s how she did it:
The card base is Whisper White Thick card stock with a Pear Pizzazz layer and a So Saffron layer. The flowers and leaves are all cut with the Botanical Builder Framelits from Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, and Pool Party. She glued them all to the card front and added some Pearl Basic Jewels.
She stamped the sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set in Pear Pizzazz onto Whisper White card stock, then cut it out with a die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. She used the same die to cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock, then cut it in half lengthwise, and framed the sentiment with it.
Thanks for stopping by today, and Sweet Stamping!

Beautiful card Judy! I love the colors you used.
