Today I’m sharing a 4″ x 4″ square note card I made using the Home to Roost Sale-a-bration stamp set. It’s a simple card made using only stamps, ink, paper, and a doily. Here’s what I made:

I stamped the rooster on the flap of the envelope:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

• So Saffron card stock (CS) cut to 4″  8″, then scored in half at 4″
• Whisper White CS layer cut to 2″ x 2″
• Whisper White CS cut to 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ for the inside of the card

Stamped with the Home to Roost stamp set:

• “weeds” in So Saffron ink onto the front of the card base to create a background design
• rooster in Cajun Craze ink (stamped off once) onto the Whisper White CS layer
• sentiment in Early Espresso ink over the stamped off rooster
• rooster in Cajun Craze ink onto the flap of the envelope

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• Old Olive doily glued onto the front of the card base
• Whisper White CS layer glued over the doily
• Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
