I wanted to make a card and gift wrap for someone with a March birthday. She often receives St. Patrick’s Day themed birthday cards and gifts. I wanted to do something different for her this year, so I decided to go very basic with Kraft and Whisper White.
The Takeout Boxes are a quick and easy way to “wrap” a gift. Plain Burlap Ribbon is tied around the box then in a simple square knot on top. The Kraft card stock tag is cut with the Scallop Tag Topper punch. The sentiment from the Amazing Birthday stamp set is heat embossed in White. You can use either White Craft Stampin’ Ink or Versamark Ink with the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
The card is made from Kraft card stock. The sentiment from the Memorable Moments stamp set is heat embossed in white the same way as the tag on the box. The grass and flowers (or could those be shamrocks?) are made from Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons and Pearl Basic Jewels.
Here’s what I used:
Thanks for stopping by today, and Sweet Stamping!

Hi Candy!
We met last weekend in Spartanburg at the cottage/store. We had a great time and hope we weren’t too loud in the cottage. Some of us are night owls. I just wanted to say I love your card. Love using heart shaped buttons for your shamrock. So cute!
Susan
Hi, Susan! I really enjoyed meeting all of you. And no, you weren’t too loud at all. Thank you for your compliment on my card. I’m so glad to see you here on StampCandy.net. I hope you’ll keep coming back.
