Today’s project is a colorful birthday card I made using the Life Is Grand stamp set and a Spectrum Pad with 5 fun colors of ink. I think the brushwork sentiments in this set look great in multiple colors. These colors are from the How Sweet It Is Designer Series paper.
Today is the last day to preorder my online card class using this stamp set, the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, and a spectrum pad with 5 shades of pink ink. The cards are very pretty, if I do say so myself. Scroll down for the class info.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Gorgeous Grape card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
Stamped with the Life is Grand stamp set:
- outer and inner sentiments in Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Pineapple Punch, and Gorgeous Grape ink (on a spectrum pad) onto a couple of pieces of Whisper White CS
Die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits:
- outer sentiment
- How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer
- inner sentiment
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- outer sentiment layer adhered onto the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- inner sentiment glued onto the inside of the card base
- 3 enamel dots (Melon Mambo and Pineapple Punch) applied onto the card front
