Today’s card is made with the Rooted in Nature Bundle and the coordinating Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper. If you look at the card I posted a few days ago made with the same bundle, you can see how changing the colors creates a completely different look.

Here’s what I made:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

• Mossy Meadow card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
• Natures Poem Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ (striped background)
• Natures Poem Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 3″ (leaves)
• Mossy Meadow CS cut to 4-1/8″ x 1-3/4″
• Petal Pink CS cut to 4″ x 1-1/2″
• Petal Pink or Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base

Stamped with the Rooted in Nature stamp set:

• sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink onto the 4″ x 1-1/2″ Petal Pink CS
• trees in Mossy Meadow ink onto a scrap of Petal Pink CS
• log in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a scrap of Petal Pink CS

Die cut using the Nature’s Roots Framelits:

• stamped trees

Cut using Paper Snips:

• stamped log

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• larger DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
• smaller DSP layer glued onto the larger DSP layer
• sentiment glued onto the Mossy Meadow CS layer
• Mossy Meadow CS layer glued onto the smaller DSP layer
• log glued over the left end of the sentiment
• three trees glued over the log
• the fourth tree adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• 5-1/4″ x 4″ Petal Pink or Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
