Here’s a sneak peak at a couple of the new products. For this card I’ve used two stamps from the Butterfly Basics stamp set – it includes 11 stamps – and four items from the Artisan Embellishment kit. Both are from the Occasions Catalog.
It was kind of late as I was creating this card, and I did something silly. I wanted the large pearl to match the Sahara Sand die cut and card base, so I colored it with the brush tip of the Sahara Sand pen. I just couldn’t figure out why the color wouldn’t take well. I’ve colored pearls in the past with great success.
Then it dawned on me – I was using a Stampin’ Write Marker instead of a Blendabilities marker! Duh! I whipped out the Light Crumb Cake Blendabilities marker, and the color took right away. Quite a difference, eh?
