I used the Special Someone stamp set from the new Jan-Jun 2020 Mini Catalog to make this adorable get well card. And it has a pun – you know how I love puns! It’s quick and easy, to make some to have on hand when your Special Someone is ailing.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:

• Crumb Cake card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
• Seaside Spray CS layer cut to 5-1/2″ x 2″
• Basic Black CS layer cut to 
• Whisper White CS layer cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
• Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base

Stamped with the Special Someone stamp set:

• squirrel detail, string, balloon, and sentiment in black Memento ink onto the Whisper White CS layer
• squirrel fill in stamped in Crumb Cake ink
• balloon fill in stamped in Seaside Spray ink
• inside sentiment and tiny butterfly in black Memento ink onto the Whisper White CS for the inside of the card base

Colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers:

• butterfly in Dark Seaside Spray
• squirrel’s shadow in Light Gray Granite
• squirrel’s face and tummy in Light Crumb Cake (I did this after I took the photos.)

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• Seaside Spray CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
• Whisper white CS layer glued onto the Basic Black CS layer
• Basic Black CS layer adhered over the Seaside Spray CS layer using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
