Today I’m sharing another card I made using the new Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. I paired it with the stylish Christmas stamp set and the Night Owl Thinlits Dies to create this CAS card.
CAS – clean and simple
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Cherry Cobbler card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Garden Greenn CS cut to 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
- Shimmery White CS cut to 4-1/4″ x 3″
- Shimmery White CS cut to 1″ x 5/8″
- Garden Green CS cut to 1-5/8″ x 3/4″
- Whisper White CS cut o 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Stylish Christmas stamp set:
- swirl in Cherry Cobbler ink onto the larger Shimmery White CS
- sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto the smaller Shimmery White CS
- swirl in Garden Green ink onto the Whisper White CS
Die cut using the Night Owl Thinlits:
- both ends of the Garden Green CS strip using the lable die
Colored using an Aqua Painter:
- larger Shimmery White CS layer in Cherry Cobbler ink, coloring in the entire background
- let dry completely
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- sentiment glued onto the die cut Garden Green CS
- die cut Garden Green CS glued onto the large Shimmery White CS layer
- large Shimmery White CS layer glued onto the Garden Green CS layer
- Garden Green CS layer adhered onto the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- pearls applied on either side of the sentiment
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
