Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey and/or Hurricane Irma.  Here at the stamping studio we had no power for four and a half days, and lost all the food in our refrigerator and freezer, but we are very fortunate. There are so many who lost so much more: their homes, their possessions, even their stamping supplies!

My card today is for all the storm victims. 

Here’s what I made today:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

• Marina Mist card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
• Soft Suede card stock (CS) cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
• Whisper White CS cut to 4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″
• Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside

Stamped with the Colorful Seasons stamp set:

• chair frame in Soft Suede ink onto the smaller piece of Whisper White CS
• seat of chair in Marina Mist ink (the photopolymer stamps make it so easy to line up the images!)
• sentiment in Marina Mist ink
  

Assembled the card:

• stamped layer glued onto the Soft Suede layer
• Soft Suede layer glued onto the front of the card base
• larger piece of Whisper White CS glued to the inside of the card base
