…wishing you Happy Anniver-sa-ry!
Okay, so I’m not much of a poet. But you must admit this card is pretty darn cute. Those adorable little pink birds sitting on a twig look so sweet, I think this makes a perfect anniversary card.
Here’s how I did it.
The card base is Old Olive card stock. The background is a piece from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack.
I stamped the 2 birds from the Best Birds stamp set in Memento black ink onto a piece of Blooms & Bliss DSP that I thought looked sort of like feathers. I used the Birds & Branches Framelits to cut them out. There is a branch image in the stamp set, but I decided to use the one already on the DSP. I positioned the birds on the twig and glued them down.
By the way, the Best Birds stamp set and the coordinating Birds & Blooms Framelits are available as a bundle to save 10%!
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Memento black ink directly onto the background DSP.
I wrapped some Old Olive Baker’s Twine three times around the top of the DSP layer, then adhered the layer to the card base. Now that’s a quick and easy anniversary card!
Here’s what I used:

This card is so gorgeous. The subtle colors make me think of looking at birds through the leaves in the early morning sun.
