Today I’m sharing yet another card I made using the Very Vintage host stamp set. I just can’t seem to get enough of this set. I covered the front of this card with a layer of Vellum. Let me know what you think.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

• Petal Pink card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
• Vellum cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
• Whisper White CS cut to 4-1/4″ x 1/2″
• Optional: Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card (The Petal Pink card base is certainly light enough to write on.)

Stamped with the Very Vintage stamp set:

• floral image in Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green inks onto the front of the card base
• NOTE: I colored the floral stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers 
• sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink onto the Whisper White CS strip
• bee in Stazon black ink onto the vellum

Colored using a Stampin’ Blends Marker:

• bee body in Daffodil Delight
• NOTE: I colored on the back side of the vellum

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• sentiment strip adhered onto the vellum using Tear & Tape (or Snail)
• vellum adhered to the front of the card base using Tear & Tape (or Snail) under the sentiment strip
• You can also use a Mini Glue Dot under the bee
• 5 pearls applied to the vellum layer
• Optional: Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
