cupcake card b

If you or someone you know likes cupcakes (and really, who doesn’t love a good cupcake?) the Sweet Cupcake bundle is for you. The 3-step images have coordinating dies, so creating the tri-color images to adhere to your projects is a snap. And saving 10% by buying the stamp set and the dies together in a bundle isn’t too bad!

Here’s what I made to share with you today.

cupcake card a

Here’s how I made it:

The card base is Chocolate Chip (of course) card stock.

The top banner is cut from Blushing Bride card stock, the center one from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack, and the bottom one from the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the Banner Triple Punch to cut the notched ends.

I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip onto the Blushing Bride banner.

Instead of using 3-steps to stamp 3 colors onto Whisper White card stock, I stamped 2-steps onto colored card stock – using the card stock for first color. I stamped the cupcake liner in Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip inks onto Crumb Cake card stock. I cut it out with its coordinating die, then glued it to a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock.

I stamped the cupcake in Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride inks onto Pink Pirouette card stock, then cut it out with its coordinating die. I adhered it above the liner with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then glued the whole thing to the card front.

The last touch is a trio of Blushing Bride hearts from the Subtles Enamel Shapes stuck onto the bottom right of the card.

For the inside of the card, I like writing on dark card stock with a white pen, but you could glue in a piece of light colored card stock to write on – maybe Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, or Whisper White
