you're sublime card a

Yesterday I made a toadally awesome card with the You’re Sublime stamp set. You can see that post here. Today I’m using a different image from the same stamp set.

You're Sublime stamp set

First I stamped the image on Watercolor Paper with black Staz-on ink. Then I used an Aqua Painter with Lost Lagoon and Garden Green inks to paint the whole background, and let it dry.

For the shiny submarine, I stamped the image on a Silver Foil Sheet, again with black Staz-on ink, and cut out the submarine with my Paper Snips. I used the 1/4″ Circle Punch to cut holes in the windows, and backed it with a scrap of Pear Pizzazz card stock that I happened to have lying around. I glued the silver sub on top of the original one.

I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the hearts and fish: Melon Mango, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise. I tied on a piece of Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine, then glued the whole thing onto a Tempting Turquoise card base.
