More Helping Me Grow from Debbie C

This is another card Debbie Catlett brought to Show & Tell this month that she made using the Helping Me Grow stamp set. She brought 3 cards made with this stamp set, but I can’t get the third photo to upload. Hopefully I can share it with you later on.You can see the first two cards Debbie brought for Show & Tell this month here and here.

Debbie catlett card 5a

The floral image is the same as on yesterday’s card, but she colored it in So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz. The sentiment placement on the card is different as well. Even though the cards are very similar, these little differences make them look quite different.

She used the same Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits, the same Softly Falling embossing folder, and the same Whisper White card stock to stamp onto.

The card base is Crumb Cake and the embossed layer is So Saffron.

Helping Me Grow from Debbie C

Today I’m sharing another of Debbie Catlett’s cards that she brought to Show & Tell for the May Candy Hearts gathering. You can see the first one here.

Debbie catlett card 4a

This is the first of 3 different cards she made usingt he Helping Me Grow stamp set. The large floral image is so striking that it doesn’t need a lot of doodahs around it.

She stamped the image onto Whisper White card stock in Basic Black Archival ink, then colored it in with Stampin’ Write Markers (Mossy Meadow, So Saffron, and Melon Mambo?)

She embossed a larger piece of Whisper White CS with the Softly Falling TIEF. The card base and all the mats are Mossy Meadow card stock. The sentiment and its mat were cut with a die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.

Thanks to Debbie for allowing me to share her projects!

You are totally awesome, Debbie Catlett

Debbie Catlett brought a bunch of great cards for Show & Tell to our May Candy Hearts gathering. I’ll be sharing them with you over the next several days (assuming I can get the all photos to upload over the hotel’s Internet connection.) Here is one I was able to upload:

Debbie catlett card 9a

I love the way she arranged the flowers and sentiment on this card. There are lots of things on the card, but there’s still plenty of white space to keep it from looking crowded. I think the sentiment looks like a little flag sticking up from a flower bed.

Since I forgot to make notes on Debbie’s cards, and the colors sometimes look different on a computer screen, I’ll have to guess at some of the colors Debbie used. Of course, you can substitute them with any colors you like.

The card base is Old Olive card stock. The card front is Whisper White card stock.

She used the Grateful Bunch stamp set and Blossom Bunch Punch (available as a bundle to save 15% only until May 31!) She stamped the Old Olive eaves directly onto the card front. She stamped the flowers in black on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock then colored them in with Stampin’ Write markers (Hello Honey & Tangelo Twist?) She stamped the sentiment in Old Olive.

She cut out the flowers with the punch, and cut the sentiment with a die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. She used the same die to cut a piece of Old Olive card stock, then cut it in half horizontally to back the sentiment.

She attached some of the flowers with glue. She attached the sentiment and other flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. She wrapped some Linen Thread around the card front, then attached it to the card base.

Here’s what (I think) she used:
