Several friends who live all over the country and I get together once a year for a crafting retreat. Some of us paper craft, some sew, some do other things. We take turns hosting. This year Deborah who lives in Plano, TX, was our host. We gathered at Magnolia Escape for 5 wonderful days. I was having too much fun to remember to take many photos, but here are a few shots:
Judy, Debbie, and I on the plane to Dallas
Deborah’s husband and sons joined us for dinner the first night at Babe’s Chicken Dinner House in Frisco, TX. With such a large party, we got to sit in the silo. Seriously, it was a silo. Clockwise starting at left: Christine, Judy, Betsy, Kim, Candy, Deborah, James, Daniel, Glenn, Ginger, Debbie.
Our host, Deborah, made cards.
Christine of Forest Lake, MN, caught up on her scrapbooking
Kim of Broomfield, CO, made a quilt.
Debbie of Chattanooga, TN, made cards.
Judy of Lafayette, GA, made cards.
Betsy of O’Fallon, MO, did some cross stitch and some drawing.
Ginger of Marlborough, CT, brought several projects, including a 1000 piece puzzle.
This is my work space, before it got too messy. I made cards.
Getting on the plane back to Atlanta: Candy, Judy, Debbie.
There were four Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators in attendance: Deborah Vanderburg of Plano, TX; Judy Newsome of Lafayette, GA; Debbie Catlett of Chattanooga, TN, and myself of Atlanta, GA.
Check back to see some of the projects the ladies made.
I am so jealous! It looks like so much fun. I love that everyone can do whatever they want! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like all had a wonderful ‘creating, crafting’ time! I think all crafters need to get away and do their craft!
Super fun retreat.
Yes, it was wonderful to get away and just craft, eat, and sleep. I stayed in my PJs the whole time!
Looks like an enjoyable time.
It definitely was, Keeva!
