Here is this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge from the Paper Players. I chose the center vertical column: Circle, Embossing, Mint Macaron.
I had already made this card earlier in the week but hadn’t scheduled it to post yet. As luck would have it, it just happens to fit the challenge perfectly. Serendipity!
The new Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) is so beautiful alone, I didn’t want a lot of other stuff on the card. So I kept it very clean and simple.
I was also looking for colors other than the usual Christmas colors. That’s why I chose Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron. I think they had a sort of frosty feel to them.
The sentiment is from the Among the Branches photopolymer stamp set. I stamped it in Blushing Bride on Whisper White and cut it with the 2″ Circle Punch. I punched a piece of Whisper White with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch to mat it.
A piece of Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon finishes the card.
I used the rule of thirds on this card to position the ribbon and sentiment. See my previous post about that here.
Oh, and did I mention that the Among the Branches stamp set and the Woodland TIEF are available as a bundle at 15% off? Click on the image below to get yours now!
