Pleased As Punch with Heart Punch Pack Friend Card

Today I’m sharing a card I made using some of the new Coordination Products. The Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (DSP) coordinates with the Heart Punch Pack, as well as three other punches. For today’s card I used the Heart Punch Pack and DSP along with the Heartfelt stamp set to create a friend card.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:

• Petal Pink card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
• Coastal Cabana CS layer cut to 
• Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to
• Optional: Whisper White cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base

Stamped with the Heartfelt stamp set:

• sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Thick CS

Cut using the Heart Punch Pack:

• one column of hearts (6 total) from a sheet of the DSP
• Note: There isn’t enough room between the hearts to cut them all with the scalloped heart punch. I alternated between the two punches: scalloped, plain, scalloped, plain, etc. Or you could just use the plain heart punch.

Cut using the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch:

• sentiment

Assembled the card:

• burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
• Coastal Cabana CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
• DSP layer glued onto the Coastal Cabana CS layer
• 6 hearts glued onto the card front
• sentiment adhered onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Flower Faceted Gem applied onto the sentiment
• The Petal Pink CS is light enough to write on, but you can glue a piece of Whisper White CS onto the inside if you want to.
