Christmas is only 10 days away! Today’s project is another gift you can make for all those people in your life you want to recognize with just a little something. They are snowmen made from Hershey’s Nuggets.
Here’s what I made:

Here’s how I did it:
For the snowmen:
I cut strips of Whisper White card stock to 1″ x 3″. This is the perfect size to wrap around Hershey’s Nuggets.
I left the bottom strip blank.
On the center strip, I stamped buttons from the Snow Place stamp set in Memento Black ink.
On the top strip, I stamped the face using one eye from one of the faces in the Foxy Friends stamp set. I stamped it twice for the eyes, and 5 times for the mouth.
I wrapped the strips around Nuggets.
On a separate piece of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the hats, tie, and scarf from the Snow Friends stamp set in Memento Black, Real Red, and Garden Green inks. Then I cut them out with the Snow Friends Framelits Dies. I glued these pieces to the Nuggets as shown.

For the nose, I used Paper Snips to cut a tiny wedge from a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock. I glued that onto the face.
For the bags:
I dropped the Nuggets into a 2″ x 6″ Cellophane Bag, and folded over the top.
I cut a piece of Real Red card stock to 2″ x 2″ and scored it at 1″ to fold it in half. I stapled it to the top of the bag. The Handheld Stapler is available only while supplies last!
I stamped the sentiment from the Stitched With Cheer photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink onto a 1-7/8″ x 7/8″ piece of Whisper White card stock, then glued it to the Real Red bag top. The Stitched With Cheer stamp set is retiring soon, so get it while you can!
Note: I cut a lot of strips at once, laid them out, and stamped them all. This assemble line method enabled me to make a whole bunch of these in very little time.

Dec 15, 2016 | Cards, Christmas, Gallery, Holiday, Retiring Products |

Today’s Christmas card is a CASE of a card made my by very talented team member Lonita Barron. It uses two stamp sets that are retiring very soon, so get them while you can!
Here’s what I made:

Here’s how I did it:
The card base is Real Red card stock, with a Real Red CS layer on top.
The card front is a piece of Whisper White CS stamped in Crumb Cake ink with the Merry Medley stamp.

The candy cane from the Banners for Christmas stamp set is stamped in Real Red in ink onto Whisper White CS, then cut out with Paper Snips. All layers are glued together.

The bow is tied with Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon and adhered to the candy cane with a couple Mini Glue Dots.
You can glue a piece of Whisper White CS to the inside of the card for a handwritten note, or you can write directly onto the Real Red card. I prefer the latter, with a white pen.

Dec 14, 2016 | Cards, Christmas, Color Palette, Gallery, Holiday, Retiring Products |
The Happy Ornament wood mount stamp is retiring soon, so get it while you can! I used it to create this card with a palette of cool colors. This is a really quick card to make. There’s only one stamp and the rest is gluing together some layers.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s how I did it:
The card base is Island Indigo card stock. There is a piece of Whisper White CS glued to the inside for a handwritten note. On the front is a layer of Mint Macaron Designer Series Paper from the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack, then a layer of Island Indigo CS.
I inked the stamp with a Mint Macaron ink pad, then used a Sponge Dauber to color in certain areas with Island Indigo ink. I stamped the image on a piece of Whisper White CS, then glued it to the card front.

Dec 13, 2016 | Blog Hop, Cards, Christmas, Color Palette, Gallery, Holiday, Retiring Products |

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! While Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are actively ordering from the 2017 Occasions Catalog and earning products from the 2017 Sale-a-Bration brochure, we are also getting ready for the upcoming holidays. We are excited to share some fun winter-themed projects with you! Today’s Winter Wishes Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature each artist’s take on Winter. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Here’s what I made:
I decided to go simple and pretty for today’s project. The Sweet Sugarplum, Soft Sky, and white color palette is soft and wintery. And I love this sentiment from the Suite Seasons stamp set.

Here’s how I did it:
The card base is Sweet Sugarplum card stock. The next layer up is Soft Sky card stock. On top of that is a piece of Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Sweet Sugarplum card stock, then I cut it out with a die from the Layering Ovals Framelits. I glued that onto the card front.
Finally I glued on some Soft Sky and Sweet Sugarplum sequins from the Fancy Frost Sequins.
Here are the Hop Stops:

Sometimes silly little things bother me. For example, this sentiment from the Fa-la-la Friends stamp set says Fa-la-la-la-llama. Cute, right? But the song has more syllables than that! Scroll down for a simple way to add the missing Las.

Here’s what I made:
These two cards are the same except for the two layers of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the card stock layer underneath.

Here’s how I did it:
The song has nine syllables. The stamp has six, so we need three more. The stamp has three (La-La-La) in the middle, so you just need to stamp those twice. Here’s how:
First ink up “Fa-La-La-La-” and leave “Llama” clean. Stamp the image, then clean and dry the stamp. Next ink up “-La-La-La-Llama.” Line it up with the first image and stamp. The see-through photopolymer stamp makes lining it up a breeze, but you could also use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to get it straight. For these cards, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White CS (card stock) then cut it out with a die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.
Both card bases are Cherry Cobbler CS. The one on the left has a Whisper White CS layer, and the right one has a Basic Black CS layer. The next two layers on both cards are different patterns from the Warmth & Cheer DSP (Designer Series Paper) Stack.
The cacti are cut from Garden Green CS with a die from the Fiesta Time Framelits. I used a Sponge Dauber to ink the edges in Garden Green ink.
I stamped the llamas from the Fa-la-la-la Friends stamp set in Memento Black ink onto Crumb Cake CS and cut them out with another die from the Fiesta Time Framelits. I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Cucumber Crush, Real Read, and Pacific Point to color in the lights.

I tied a piece of Real Red Solid Baker’s Twine around each llama’s neck. I attached a cactus and a llama to each card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then tied the other end of the twine around the cactus.
The final touch was to attach the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Dec 11, 2016 | Boxes, Christmas, Gallery, Holiday, Kits, Tags |
Have you seen the Tin of Tags Kit and stamp set? It’s amazing! It comes in an adorable little red tin. You get the pieces to make 30 tags (3 each of 10 designs!) including tassels, twine, washi tape, and other embellishments, and instructions. All you need is the Tin of Tags stamp set, an acrylic block, some ink, and adhesive! The tags are perfect for Christmas, but can be used for other events, too. And after you finish the tags, you have some goodies left over to use on other projects! And look at the stamp set – great for Christmas and other gift giving occasions. This should be in everyone’s gift stamping arsenal.

The kit is quick and easy. And both the kit and the stamp set are on sale! Grab them while you can!
Tin Of Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set, Item # 142180, $21.00 $16.80
Tin of Tags Project Kit, Item # 142011, $22.00 $15.40

Here’s what I used:
Note: Blocks A, D, and G are recommended for use with this stamp set. The smaller blocks do make it easier to use smaller stamps, but you can use only the larger D Block for this kit. You can use a large block with a small stamp, but you can’t use a small block with a large stamp.
Thanks for stopping by today, and Sweet Stamping!
