Today I get to share a card made by one of my talented team members, Debbie Catlett, of Chattanooga, TN. She used the Accented Blooms stamp set and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
Here’s what she made:
Here’s what she did:
Cut and scored with her Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Blackberry Bliss card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Accented Blooms stamp set:
- floral image in black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits:
- one circle from a scrap of Whisper White CS
- one circle from a scrap of Blackberry Bliss CS
Cut using the Tailored Tag Punch:
Cut using Paper Snips:
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers and a Blender Pen:
- floral image in Blackberry Bliss, Grapefruit Grove, Mossy Meadow, and So Saffron inks
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- two die cut circles glued onto the DSP layer
- floral image glued over two die cut circles
- sentiment glued onto the floral image
- Blackberry Bliss twine tied into a bow and adhered to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

Today I’m sharing Judy Newsome’s swap card from our June team meeting. She used the Pop of Petals Bundle (Pop of Petals stamp set and Four-Petal Flower Punch) and her colors are Bermuda Bay and Poppy Parade. Isn’t this a cute card?
Here’s what she made:

Cut and scored with a Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Whisper White Thick card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Poppy Parade CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Bermuda Bay CS cut to 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
- Poppy Parade Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5″ x 2″
- Bermuda Bay DSP cut to 5″ x 1-3/4″
Stamped with the Pop of Petals stamp set:
- 2 flowers in Poppy Parade ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- butterfly in Bermuda Bay ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Stamped with the Banners for You stamp set:
- banner in Bermuda Bay ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Poppy Parade ink inside the banner
Cut using the Four-Petal Flower Punch:
- 2 flowers and 1 butterfly
Die cut using the Bunch of Banners Framelits:
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers:
- butterfly spots in Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay inks
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Poppy Parade CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- Bermuda Bay CS layer glued onto the Poppy Parade CS layer
- both DSP pieces glued onto the Bermuda Bay CS layer as shown
- flowers, butterfly, and banner adhered to the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals

The Painted Glass stamp set has sentiments in a beautiful font, like the one on today’s card. The Graceful Glass Designer Vellum is exquisite, especially when you color it with markers. Check out this card made by Judy Newsome, one of my Candy Hearts team members.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what (I think) she did:
Cut and scored with a Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Bermuda Bay card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Daffodil Delight CS cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Graceful Glass Designer Vellum cut to 3″ x 3″
- So Saffron CS cut to 2-3/4″ x 5/8″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Painted Glass stamp set:
- sentiment in Memento black ink onto the So Saffron CS strip
Die cut using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies:
- grid design from the bottom of the Daffodil Delight CS layer (save cut out pieces)
Cut using Paper Snips:
- notched the ends of the So Saffron CS strip
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers:
- the designer vellum in Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Soft Sea Foam
- NOTE: color on the back side of the vellum, then very gently set the ink with a heat tool
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Daffodil Delight CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- vellum adhered to the Daffodil Delight CS layer using a Mini Glue Dot at each corner
- sentiment adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Daffodil Delight ribbon tied in a bow and adhered using a Mini Glue Dot
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base
- three of the saved Daffodil Delight cut out pieces glued onto the Whisper White CS inside the card

Hooray, it’s my birthday! Today I am thrilled to share with you a birthday card I received from Lonita Barron, one of my Candy Hearts team members. She used the Broadway Birthday stamp set, the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Detailed Trio Punch to create this bright, fun, and cheerful card.
Here’s what she made:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Lemon Lime Twist card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Basic Black CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Whisper White CS cut to 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
- Basic Black CS cut to 2-3/8″ x 5/8″
- Whisper White CS cut to 2-1/4″ x 1/2″
Stamped with the Broadway Birthday stamp set:
- small sentiment in Gray Granite ink onto the small piece of Whisper White CS
- Hooray twice in Lemon Lime Twist ink and once in Lovely Lipstick ink onto the large Whisper White CS
Cut using the Detailed Trio Punch:
- rounded all four corners of the three largest layers (Basic Black, DSP, and Whisper White)
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- large Basic Black layer glued onto the front of the card base
- DSP layer glued onto the Basic Black CS layer
- large Whisper White CS layer glued onto the DSP layer
- small sentiment glued onto the small Basic Black CS
- small Basic Black CS glued onto the card front
