Apr 18, 2017 | Blog Hop, Boxes, Catalogs, Gallery, Gift Wrap, New Products
Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for April 2017. This month our theme is “Onstage April 2017”.

Onstage is an event held for Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators only, where we get to see, feel, and play with brand-new soon-to-be-released products. This event was based on the brand new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

We want to show you some of the highlights of this event and hope that you can join us and other Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators in the future. Just one more reason to join my team!
Eight members of my team attended along with me, and we had a blast. We even had matching shirts, cups, and earrings!

Judy Newsome, Debbie Catlett, Caitlin Jones, Candy Ford, Linda Krueger, Missy Wiedeman, Donica Williams, Tamara Burton, and Kimberly Laidley.
My favorite thing about OnStage is seeing the demonstrators I only get to see at events like this. Well, and making new demonstrator friends. Oh, and the presentations. And the project ideas. And participating in swaps. And getting the newest catalog before anyone else. And getting some of the brand new products FREE before anyone else has even seen them. And pre-ordering new products before anyone else. So yeah, basically all of it.
Here are some shots from OnStage:

We weren’t yet allowed to show the new products, so that’s why we are hiding the stamp sets we won during Prize Patrols.

That evening, after OnStage was over and everyone had some dinner, Brian King’s team gathered in his suite for a Pajama Jam. We had snacks and went through the new catalog page by page. Of course, the Candy Hearts had matching pjs for the event (though not everyone has on their pj bottoms yet in this photo.)

I’m not sure what happened between these two shots, but Brian definitely had something to do with it. The camera caught him before he could get away. You can check out Brian’s blog post today for more photos of the Pajama Party.

Here’s what I made:
I was honored to present the new Wood Textures Suite of products at OnStage Savannah, and to create a display board of projects made with them. Today I’m sharing one of those projects. At first I filled the crate with a bag of Easter color Peanut M&Ms tied with a piece of the brand new Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine.

Then I realized the M&Ms might be too heavy. The crate would be attached to a display board with velcro, and I was afraid the weight could cause the crate to warp or even tear. I found some small, lightweight Easter egg ornaments at Target, so I used those instead. (Most of my other display crates had miniature marshmallows in them for the same reason.)

The “grass” in the crate is some shredded gift bag filler I had on hand.
Here’s what I did:
Die cut using the Wood Crate Framelits:
- Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) using the crate die (2 pieces)
Stamped with the Wood Words stamp set:
- floral image in Pool Party ink onto one slatted side of the crate
Stamped with the Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set:
- sentiment in Pool Party ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock (CS)
Stamped with the Falling Flowers stamp set:
- small flower in Pink Pirouette ink over sentiment
Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits:
Assembled the crate:
- two crate bottoms glued together, then tabs glued to sides to form crate
- sentiment adhered to front of crate with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Here’s the hop:

Feb 24, 2017 | Cards, Gallery, New Products, Sale-A-Bration |
Like the past couple of days, today’s card features one of the newly released Sale-a-bration items that you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase. You can see all three of the new items here. The 6×6 Glimmer Paper is stunning. I’m not a big fan of using glitter. I mean, I think it’s pretty, but I don’t like the mess I always make with it. But this paper is so beautiful in Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum that I just couldn’t resist.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Mint Macaron card stock (CS) to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- 2 pieces of Whisper White CS to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Sweet Sugarplum CS to 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Mint Macaron & Whisper White CS pieces big enough to die cut the circles
Stamped with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set:
- front sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink onto the small piece of Whisper White CS
- inside sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink onto one of the larger pieces of Whisper White CS
- part of the large flourish image in Mint Macaron ink around the inside sentiment
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- the front sentiment that’s stamped onto Whisper White CS
- a slightly larger circle from Mint Macaron CS
Die cut using the Flourish Thinlits Dies:
- large flourish from Mint Macaron glimmer paper
- Note – put the glimmer paper face down, then put the die on top of it. It’s easier to cut that way. There are times when you must cut it glitter side up, when you’re cutting out a word, for example, so it won’t be backwards.
Embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder:
Assembled the card:
- inside piece glued to the inside of the card base
- glimmer paper flourish glued to the embossed Sweet Sugarplum CS
- the Whisper White circle glued onto the Mint Macaron circle
- both circles adhered to the embossed Sweet Sugarplum CS with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Sweet Sugarplum CS glued to the remaining large piece of Whisper White CS
- the Whisper White CS glued to the front of the card base
Here’s what I used:
Click on the images for more details and to purchase. The 6×6 Glimmer Paper is only available as a FREE Sale-a-bration item with a $50 purchase.

Feb 23, 2017 | Cards, Gallery, New Products, Sale-A-Bration |
Today’s card features another one of the three newly released Sale-a-bration items that you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase. You can see all three of them here. The Make a Medallion stamp set is A-MA-ZING! When I first saw it I thought, okay another medallion stamp set, we’ve seen them before. But this one is different. The different stamp images work together to create exquisite, intricate designs. The beautiful medallion on today’s card was made with only two stamps. Two! Well, not including the word Thanks. Check it out.

Make a Medallion stamp set © Stampin’ Up!
Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Crumb Cake CS to 4-1/4″ x 11″, and scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Party Animal Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Soft Suede and Very Vanilla CS cut to about 3″ square, to die cut the circles from
Stamped with the Make a Medallion stamp set:
- one medallion image in Crumb Cake ink onto the Very Vanilla CS, in the center
- another medallion image in Soft Suede ink, lining it up with the first image
- THANKS in Soft Suede ink in the center of the medallion
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- the stamped medallion
- the Soft Suede CS piece
Assembled the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue:
- wrapped two pieces of Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Ribbon around the DSP, and adhered on the back with Fast Fuse instead of the glue
- the stamped circle onto the larger Soft Suede circle
- the glued circles onto the DSP (You can use Stampin’ Dimensionals, if you prefer.)
- DSP onto the card base
- If you like, you can glue a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla CS to the inside of the card base. I didn’t because I think the Crumb Cake CS is plenty light enough to write on.
Here’s what I used:

Jan 18, 2017 | Blog Hop, Cards, Gallery, New Products, Occasions |

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop – our first hop of 2017! Today’s hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature each artist’s take on “Love is in the Air.” This is the best time of year to start planning your Valentine’s Day projects. There are amazing, new products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Occasions Catalog – and NOW is the best time to get them. We are excited to share our projects with you and hope they inspire you! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post, Shawn de Oliveira.
I have fallen in love with the products in the new 2017 Occasions Catalog and I’m excited to share them with you. Today’s project features the Sealed with Love suite of products on pages 14-15.
Here’s what I made:

Here’s how I did it:
I stamped the sentiment from the Sealed with Love stamp set in Memento Black ink onto a strip of Real Red card stock. I notched one end with the Banner Triple Punch.
I used the striped heart die from the Love Notes Framelits to cut a Real Read heart and to cut the other end of the strip so it would butt up against the heart. I glued the heart and strip onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock.
I glued that onto a piece from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack, then glued that onto a different, larger piece from the same DSP. Then I glued that onto the Sahara Sand card base.
The products I used today are at the bottom of this post.
Here’s the hop:
Thank you for hopping along with us! I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop, Shawn de Oliveira at ShawnStamps. There’s a lot of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:

Jan 4, 2017 | Blog Hop, Cards, Gallery, New Products, Occasions, Sale-A-Bration |

Today is a big day! The brand new 2017 Occasions Catalog is live AND it’s the first day of Sale-a-bration 2017!!! So for the Inspire, Create, Share January Blog Hop, we are highlighting products from the new Sale-a-bration brochure.
At the bottom of this post is the list of items from the 2016 Holiday Catalog that have been carried over to the Occasions Catalog.
Here’s what I made:
This funny chicken just makes my day. Talk about a bad hair day!

Here’s how I did it:
* Sale-a-bration item
I stamped the chicken from the *Hey, Chick stamp set, and the sentiment from the *Designer Tee stamp set, in Basic Black ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
I colored the chicken with the new Watercolor Pencils in Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie. I used an Aqua Painter to gently blend the colors. I probably should have used Shimmer White card stock, or a Blender Pen instead of an Aqua Painter, but I was very careful not to get it too wet.
I glued the stamped piece to a piece of *Carried Away Designer Series Paper. I also wrapped three pieces of Bermuda Bay ribbon around the DSP, adhering it on the back with Fast Fuse.
I glued the DSP to a piece of Whisper White card stock, and glued that to a Bermuda Bay card base. I also glued a piece of Whisper White CS to the inside of the card for a handwritten note. (Or you could write on the card base with a white pen.)
