Today I’m sharing my 3D Swap from our March Candy Hearts team meeting, which you can read about here. It’s really super simple. I used the Curvy Keepsake Box Framelits to make the box, and added a vellum butterfly. That’s it! Well, other than filling them with chocolates. Aren’t they pretty? They look like the butterflies are about to fly away with them.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 6″ x 12″
- Vellum card stock (CS) to 3-1/2″ wide strips
- cut each die-cut butterfly in half, up through the body*
Die cut using the Curvy Keepsake Box Framelits:
- DSP cut with the box die (2 per box)
Die cut using the Butterflies Thinlits:
- *butterflies from Vellum – one per box
Assembled the box:
- two box pieces glued together at the bottom
- glued a butterfly half on each side of the slot, as shown – make sure this part gets closed last
- close three sides of the box, fill with goodies, then close the fourth part with the butterfly

Each month my team, the Candy Hearts, has a team gathering where we share information, have demonstrations and challenges, make projects, swap projects, play games, learn techniques, eat snacks, laugh a lot, and generally have a good time. This month we celebrated Easter, and had a 3D Swap.
Here are the 3D Swap items:

You’re A Good Egg box by Missy Wiedeman. Rich Razzleberry small purse by Donica Williams.
Debbie’s box contained note cards in all the 2015-2017 In Colors.

I thought I posted this card many weeks ago, but it somehow slipped through the cracks. But I had to share it with you, because I think it’s just beautiful, if I do say so myself. I used products from the Falling In Love Suite and the So In Love Bundle, what I’m calling the Falling So In Love Suite (on pages 51 & 52 in the 2017 Occasions Catalog) to make this soft and pretty Happy Anniversary card.

Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Soft Sky card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Falling In Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Very Vanilla CS strip cut to 3/4″ x 4″
- Soft Sky CS stripcut to 1″ x 4″
- Very Vanilla CScut to 3″ x 6″ for die cut
Notched one end with the Banner Triple Punch:
- 3/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla CS strip
- 1″ x 4″ Soft Sky CS strip
Stamped with the So In Love stamp set:
- sentiment in Sahara Sand ink onto the Very Vanilla strip
Die cut using the So Detailed Thinlits:
- 3″ x 6″ Very Vanilla CS with the largest die in the set
Assembled the card:
- die cut piece glued onto left edge of DSP, with the solid strip wrapped around to the back
- Very Vanilla strip glued onto Soft Sky strip, lining up the notched ends, to create layered sentiment banner
- Falling In Love Embellishment adhered to layered sentiment banner with Mini Glue Dots
- layered sentiment banner glued onto the DSP/die cut, then usedPaper Snips to trim off any excess that extended past the left edge of the DSP
- DSP glued onto Very Vanilla layer
- Very Vanilla layer glued onto Soft Sky card base

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Wisteria Wonder card stock (CS) to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
Stamped with the Make a Medallion stamp set:
- first medallion image in Wisteria Wonder ink onto Wisteria Wonder CS
- second medallion image in Perfect Plum ink over the first medallion image
- sentiment in Perfect Plum ink within the medallions
Stamped with the Oh So Succulent stamp set:
- small flower in Wisteria Wonder ink all over the front of the Wisteria Wonder card base
Die cut using the Layered Circles Framelits:
- stamped medallion image
- Elegant Eggplant CS a little larger than the stamped image circle
- Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper a little larger than the Elegant Eggplant circle
Assembled the card:
- the three die cut circles glued together, then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Today’s card uses the So Very Much stamp set on page 5 of the SAB first release brochure. It comes in clear mount and wood mount. And it’s FREE with any purchase of $50!
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Basic Gray card stock (CS) to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Whisper White CS to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- watermelon Wonder CS to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White CS to 5-1/4″ x 4″
Stamped with the So Very Much stamp set:
- sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto Watermelon Wonder CS
Assembled the card:
- scattered self-stick pearls around sentiment
- Watermelon CS glued to Whisper White CS
- Whisper White CS glued to Basic Gray card base
- 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS glued to inside of card base, for a handwritten note
NOTE: If you plan to send this card through the mail instead of hand delivering it, I would recommend putting another piece of card stock (5-1/4″ x 4″) in front of the card in the envelope. It will help prevent the pearls from poking through the envelope.

- sentiment in Cucumber Crush ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Die cut:
- sentiment using Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits
- stem from Cucumber Crush CS using Everyday Jars Framelits
- 3 hearts from Cucumber Crush CS using Sweet & Sassy Framelits (smallest heart)
Inked using a Sponge Dauber:
- edges of sentiment in Cucumber Crush ink
Assembled the card:
- stem glued onto the Whisper White CS
- hearts glued around top of stem – you can use 3 hearts for a shamrock, or 4 hearts for a 4 leaf clover
- sentiment adhered to Whisper White CS with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- sequins pulled off of Gold Sequin Trim, then glued onto the Whisper White CS
- Whisper White CS glued onto Cucumber Crush DSP
- Cucumber Crush DSP glued onto Gold Glimmer Paper
- Gold Glimmer Paper glued onto Cucumber Crush card base
