Today for the ICS Love Thing Blog Hop we are sharing projects for wedding, anniversary or Valentines Day. I’m sharing the little gifts I made for some friends of mine for Valentine’s Day. I filled Sweet Cups with Valentine themed peanut M&Ms, and decorated the lids with the Sweetest Thing bundle, How Sweet It Is and Garden Impressions Designer Series Papers, and the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment so it would be in exactly the same place on each one – read on to see how I did that. Super quick and easy!
Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- largest scalloped circle from Melon Mambo card stock (CS)
- largest plain circle from Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- largest plain circle from a scrap of CS (any color) for a Stamparatus template (see below)
Die cut using the Jar of Sweets Framelits:
- candy jars from a piece of How Sweet It Is DSP
Stamped with the Sweetest Thing stamp set:
- sentiment in black ink onto the DSP circle
- I placed the die cut template on the Stamparatus and placed the stamp where I wanted it on all the circles. Then I placed each DSP circle in the template and stamped. This is great for stamping multiples of the same thing, or for stamping in the same place more than once if you didn’t get a good stamp the first time.

Assembled the sweet cups:
- DSP circle glued onto the Melon Mambo CS circle
- die cut candy jar adhered onto the DSP circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Melon Mambo CS circle adhered onto the lid of the sweet cup using Tear & Tape

Today I’m sharing an extremely simple little treat holder. It’s basically a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) wrapped around a Ghirardelli square, with a die cut heart and stamped sentiment. I made a couple of versions: one with All My Love paper DSP and a Whisper White card stock (CS) heart, and one with Needlepoint Nook DSP and a Very Vanilla CS heart. I stamped the sentiment from the in Flirty Flamingo ink.

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- All My Love Designer Series Paper cut to 2-7/8″ x 4-1/2″
- Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 2-7/8: x 4-1/2″
Stamped with the Forever Lovely stamp set:
- sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS
Die cut using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits:
- both sentiments with a decorative heart die
Assembled the treat holder:
- wrapped the DSP around the Ghirardelli square and glued together the overlapping ends on the back, being careful not to glue the DSP to the candy wrapper so the candy can slide out
- die cut heart (inside part with sentiment and the decorative outer part) glued onto the front of the DSP

The Clear Tiny Treat Boxes make gift giving so easy. You can line it with paper, as I have today, or let the gift inside show through. I especially like to do that when the gift is colorful, like M&Ms. I decorated this one with a tag I made using the Candy Cane Season stamp set and Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.
Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- All is Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 2″ x 8″, then scored at 2″, 4″, and 6″
- DSP cut to 2″ x 6″, then scored at 2″ and 4″
Stamped with the Candy Cane Season stamp set:
- sentiment in Garden Green ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock (CS)
Die cut using the Stitched Labels Framelits:
- a scrap of Garden Green CS (largest layer)
- sentiment (smallest layer)
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- a scrap of Real Red CS (middle layer)
Cut using the 1/2″ Circle Punch:
- a semicircle from one end of the 8″ DSP, to match the rounded finger notch in the box
Assembled the project:
- folds in the DSP pieces burnished with a Bone Folder
- assembled the box
- 6″ DSP inserted into the box to line the two sides and the bottom
- 8″ DSP inserted into the box to line the front, bottom, back, and top, with the finger notch in the front
- put treats/gift in the box and close the lid
- sentiment glued onto the Real Red CS circle
- Real Red CS circle glued onto the Garden Green CS circle
- Garden Green CS circle adhered onto the top of the box using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Today I’m sharing one of the gifts I made for the ladies at my Autumn retreat. It’s a very quick and simple idea for a small gift. I used the Sprig Punch and Basket Weave embossing folder to create a simple decoration for a Striped Treat Bag.
Here’s what I made:
This one is a little crinkled from being transported.

Here’s what I did:
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- a scrap of a Gold Foil Sheet
Cut using the Sprig Punch:
- 2 pieces from a scrap of Tranquil Tide glimmer paper
Embossed using the Basket Weave TIEF:
Assembled the card:
- put the gift in the bag and fold over the top
- clip the embossed gold circle and the 2 sprigs onto the top of the bag using a Gold Library Clip

Here’s what I did:
Stamped with the Candy Cane Season stamp set:
- candy cane hearts in Real Red ink onto the bag, 5 on each side
- candy cane outline and sentiment in Real Red ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock (CS)
Cut using the Candy Cane Builder Punch:
Cut using the Everyday Label Punch:

Today I’m sharing a fun little Takeout Treat Box I made for a group of stampers at my retreat last month. I used the Takeout Thinlits Dies to cut the box out of Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper. I tied a piece of Basic Black Solid Twine around the box, and the finishing touch is a little wooden element I painted with Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint, adhered using a Mini Glue Dot. Easy peasy quick and easy!
Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Die cut using the Takeout Thinlits:
- two pieces of Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Colored using a Stampin’ Sponge:
- tree from the Festive Farmhouse Elements in Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint
Assembled the Takeout Treat Box:
- burnished the folds in the DSP pieces with a Bone Folder
- DSP pieces glued together on the bottom and up all four sides
- inserted treats into the box, and closed the top
- tied Basic Black Solid Twine around the box and tied it in a bow
- adhered tree element using a Mini Glue Dot
