Today I’m sharing the second of the cards I made as a one sheet wonder with a piece of the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP.) It’s an extremely easy card to make, with very few steps.

Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Tranquil Tide card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5″ x 1-1/2″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 1-3/4″
- Very Vanilla CS scrap, about 4″ x 5″, for both stamped and die cut pieces
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card
Stamped with the Eastern Beauty stamp set:
- sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto Very Vanilla CS scrap
- medallion images in Dapper Denim ink (large central image) and in Tranquil Tide ink onto Very Vanilla CS scrap
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
Cut using the Classic Label Punch:
Assembled the card:
- DSP glued onto Very Vanilla CS strip
- Very Vanilla CS strip glued onto from of card base
- medallion image adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- sentiment adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals (except glued where it overlaps the medallion piece
- 5-1/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla CS glued to inside of card base

Here is the first of the twelve cards I made from one sheet of Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP.) You can see photos of all the cards here and here. I used products from the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle for today’s card (Thick Very Vanilla card stock, and Mini Tassels Assortment) but the Designer Series Paper and Eastern Beauty stamp set I used are in both the Premier and Starter Bundles. Scroll down to see and order the bundles.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Thick Very Vanilla card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
Stamped with the Eastern Beauty stamp set:
- sentiment in Dapper Denim ink onto Very Vanilla CS
- inner circle in Tranquil Tide ink around sentiment
- outer circle in Fresh Fig ink around inner circle
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- stamped circles/sentiment
Assembled the card:
- DSP glued onto front of card base
- sentiment circle glued onto front of card base
- tied a piece of Gold 1/4″ Natural Trim onto the loop of a gold Mini Tassel, then adhered it to the card with Mini Glue Dots

Several days ago, I shared a photo of 6 cards I made as part of a one sheet wonder using the Eastern Palace Suite of products. You can see that post here. I thought I had 6 cards left to share, but I found I had 7 instead. When I looked back at my post I realized I had included a card that was made with the suite, but was not part of the one sheet wonder. I used a different piece of the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) for it, and it is the card I’m sharing below. Scroll down to get the amazing Eastern Palace Bundles, available through May 31. The suite includes the Eastern Beauty stamp set, Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies, and Eastern Palace DSP.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Fresh Fig card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Dapper Denim CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Tranquil Tide CS cut to 4-3/4″ x 3-5/8″
- Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4-1/2″ x 3-3/8″
- Fresh Fig CS cut to 3-1/8″ x 1-3/4″
- Dapper Denim CS cut to 3″ x 1-5/8″
- Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 2-7/8″ x 1-1/2″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for inside of card
- NOTE: I used the regular Very Vanilla CS for this card, but you can use the Thick Very Vanilla CS that comes in the Premier Bundle)
Stamped with the Eastern Beauty stamp set:
- sentiments (hello, you) in Tranquil Tide ink onto smaller piece of DSP
- dots in Tranquil Tide ink onto the 5-1/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla CS
Die cut using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits:
- larger medallion cut from Dapper Denim CS
- smaller medallion cut from Tranquil Tide CS
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- Dapper Denim medallion
- Fresh Fig CS using the same circle die
Assembled the card:
- small DSP glued onto small Dapper Denim CS rectangle
- small Dapper Denim CS rectangle glued onto Fresh Fig CS rectangle
- Dapper Denim medallion glued onto Fresh Fig circle
- Tranquil Tide medallion glued onto Dapper Denim Medallion
- Very Vanilla CS layer glued onto front of card base
- Dapper Denim CS layer glued onto Very Vanilla CS layer
- Tranquil Tide CS layer glued onto Dapper Denim CS layer
- larger DSP layer glued onto Tranquil Tide CS layer
- medallion stack glued onto DSP layer
- sentiment rectangle stack glued onto medallion stack, and the other end adhered to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Here’s another feminine card I made with the Wood Textures Suite for the display board at OnStage Savannah last month. I used the Wood Words stamp set and the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make the card and added pearls as a final dainty touch.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Thick Whisper White card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 3/4″
- Wood Textures DSP cut to 5-1/4″ x 1/2″
Stamped with the Wood Words stamp set:
- floral image in Versamark ink all over the 5-1/4″ x 4″ DSP
- sentiment in Versamark ink in the center of the DSP strip
- NOTE: then heat embossed all stamped images in white
Assembled the card:
- sentiment strip glued onto Whisper White CS strip
- Whisper White CS strip glued onto DSP layer
- DSP layer glued onto front of card base
- pearls added to DSP layer (larger pearls in large flower centers, and smaller pearls scattered around)

Today I’m sharing another card I made with the Wood Textures Suite for the display board at OnStage Savannah. This shows that you can make dainty, girly projects with the suite, and not just woodsy, country ones. I used the Wood Words stamp set to make this floral, feminine card.

By the way, I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. I’ve been in a marathon card making session with my sister and team member, Judy Newsome. She’s been staying with me since Wednesday, and we have been making projects with the brand new products I’ve been able to order from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. Let’s just say I’ve drunk a lot of Cokes and she has drunk a lot of Mocha Frappuccinos! Some Girl Scout cookies and chocolate may have been consumed as well. But we have some terrific samples. - Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ (two pieces)
- Crumb Cake CS cut to 5″ x 2-1/8″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5″ x 2″
- Crumb Cake CS cut to 4″ x 5/8″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 1/2″
Notched using the Banner Triple Punch:
- 5″ x 2″ Whisper White CS
- 4″ x 5/8″ Crumb Cake CS
- 4″ x 1/2″ Whisper White CS
- NOTE: all pieces notched on the right end only
Stamped with the Wood Words stamp set:
- floral image in Crumb Cake onto one 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS as shown
- floral image in Crumb Cake ink onto 5″ x 2″ notched Whisper White CS as shone
- sentiment in Crumb Cake ink onto 4″ x 1/2″ notched Whisper White CS
Assembled the card:
- sentiment stamped strip glued onto notched Crumb Cake strip
- floral stamped wide strip glued onto 5″ x 2-1/8″ Crumb Cake CS, then used Paper Snips to trim Crumb Cake CS to match notched end of stamped piece
- floral stamped 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS glued to inside of card base
- plain 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS glued to front of card base
- floral notched strip glued onto 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS
- sentiment strip glued onto floral notched strip
