Today’s card is really simple, even though it may look like there’s a lot going on. The background is a piece of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is multiple designs together on one sheet, so that adds a lot to the overall look. The sentiment is from the Believe You Can host stamp set (only available with Stampin’ Rewards on an order of $150 or more) and it’s stamped directly onto the DSP layer. The additional pieces are cut from Soft Suede cardstock using the Smooth Sailing Dies.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:
- Soft Suede card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Here you can see the top corner of the piece of DSP that I used for this card:
Stamped with the Believe You Can host stamp set:
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto the upper right corner of the DSP layer
Cut using the Smooth Sailing Dies:
- helm, anchor, and 2 ropes from a scrap of Soft Suede CS
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- die cut ropes glued onto the DSP layer, around the stamped area, and the excess trimmed away using Paper Snips
- Crumb Cake twine tied through the hole in the die cut anchor
- die cut anchor and helm glued onto the DSP layer
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

Today’s card was made using the new Above the Clouds bundle (Above the Clouds stamp set and Hot Air Balloon Punch.) The balloons were colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers, and card was finished off with Mint Macaron twine from the Nature’s Twine pack and Heart Epoxy Droplets.

I tried to get at least one shot where you can really see the clear Heart Epoxy Droplets. They show up much better in person than in the photos.
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:
- Mint Macaron card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Balmy Blue CS layer cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White CS layer cut to 4-3/4″ x 5″
- optional: Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Above The Clouds stamp set:
- 1 balloon and basket in Balmy Blue ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- 1 balloon and basket in Mint Macaron ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- clouds in Balmy Blue ink onto the Whisper White CS layer, on the top half
- sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto the Whisper White CS layer, at bottom left
Cut using the Hot Air Balloon Punch:
- both balloons and both baskets
Colored using Stampin’ Blends:
- 1 balloon and basket in Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron
- 1 balloon and basket in Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch, Soft Sea Foam, and Mint Macaron
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- balloons and baskets glued onto the Whisper White CS layer
- Mint Macaron twine wrapped around the Whisper White cS layer twice and tied in a bow
- 3 heart droplets applied onto the Whisper White CS layer
- Whisper White CS layer glued onto the Balmy Blue CS layer
- Balmy Blue CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- optional: Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

No, that isn’t a mistake. This is a card made with a card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack. The M&M card packs make it super quick and easy to make a card – just adhere it onto the front of a card base and you’re done! This card also has a couple pieces of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.

- a different pattern of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card
Assembled the Come Sail Away M&M card card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- a 3″ x 4″ card from the M&M card pack glued onto the front of the card base
- DSP pieces glued onto the front of the card base
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

It’s time for the June 2019 OSAT Blog Hop! This month’s theme is Something Old, Something New. We’re featuring new products used along with products that carried over from previous catalogs. For my projects, I used the new A Little Lace stamp set with the returning Stitched Shapes Dies. The treat box fits a Reese’s Big Cup. Hopefully it will make it to its intended recipient – I do love a Big Cup!

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my paper trimmer:
- Soft Sea Foam card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla CS card layer cut to 3-3/4″ x 4-3/4″
- Very Vanilla CS box layer cut to 2-5/8″ x 2-1/8″
- Soft Sea Foam CS cut to 5″ x 8″, and score 1″ from each long side, then scored at 1″, 3-1/2″, 4-1/2″, and 7″
Stamped with the A Little Lace stamp set:
- two card sentiments in Rococo Rose ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS
- floral image in Rococo Rose, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, and Balmy Blue inks onto both Very Vanilla CS layers
- NOTE: I colored the different parts of the floral stamp using Stampin’ Write markers, then stamped.
- box sentiment in Rococo Rose onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS (I used a marker to color just that part of the stamp)
Cut using the Stitched Shapes Dies:
- the three stamped sentiments
- three circles from a scrap of Soft Sea Foam CS
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Very Vanilla CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- die cut circles and sentiments glued onto the Very Vanilla CS layer as shown
Assembled the box:
- burnished the folds in the box with a Bone Folder
- angled the edges of the 6 tabs using Paper Snips
- Very Vanilla CS layer glued onto the lid of the box
- die cut sentiment and Soft Sea Foam circle glued onto the Very Vanilla CS layer
- all tabs glued to the inside of the adjacent side
- inserted Reese’s Big Cup and closed lid

Today’s card was a snap to make. I used the new A Little Lace bundle (A Little Lace stamp set and Stitched Lace Dies) to create this pretty, lacy So Happy for You card in Rococo Rose and Very Vanilla.
Before I show you the card, I want to make sure you know about the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate. The new 3D Embossing Folders aren’t as thick as the older Dynamic Embossing Folders (they use up less storage space!) and this new plate enables you to get the full effect from them. It’s thicker than the regular clear cutting plates that come with the Big Shot.

- Very Vanilla Thick card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
Stamped with the A Little Lace stamp set:

Cut using the Stitched Lace Dies:
- lace from a piece of Rococo Rose CS
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- die cut lace glued onto the front of the card base
- 3 pearls applied onto the front of the card base

Who doesn’t love hot air balloons? They are so pretty to watch floating in the sky. Now you can enjoy them anytime with the Above the Clouds bundle (Above the Clouds stamp set and Hot Air Balloon Punch.) I used this bundle along with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks to create today’s card in Rococo Rose, one of the new 2019-2021 In Colors.

- Rococo Rose card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 pieces)
Stamped with the Above The Clouds stamp set:
- one large balloon, one basket, and three small balloons in Soft Suede ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto one of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White CS pieces
Punched using the Hot Air Balloon Punch:
Cut using Paper Snips:
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers:
- basket and all 4 balloons in Rococo Rose
Inked using the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and a Stampin’ Sponge:
- clouds above the sentiment
- bricks around the clouds and sentiment
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- balloons and basket adhered onto the CS layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- linen ribbon adhered onto the CS layer using Tear & taps, and the ends wrapped around to the back of the layer
- a shorter piece of ribbon tied in a knot and adhered onto the first piece of ribbon using Mini Glue Dots
- CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- plain Whisper White CS piece glued onto the inside of the card base
