Right now until March 31, you can save $5 on a 3-month Paper Pumpkin subscription! Plus you earn a FREE Sale-a-bration item! Who doesn’t love a sale plus free stuff? There is no obligation after your subscription ends, although I know you’ll want to keep it going because it’s just so much fun!
Paper Pumpkin + Party
Every month I host a party where we gather together to assemble our Paper Pumpkin kits.
– I’ll help you with your own Paper Pumpkin kit (Subscribers, bring your current kit to work on, scissors, and adhesive.)
– Everyone who comes can make projects from any of my past kits for a nominal fee (just $2.50 for most.)
– I’ll show you alternative ways to use your kits.
– There will be light refreshments. (Chocolate!)
Please join me Thursday evening, March 26, at 7pm for our next monthly gathering. RSVP by March 25.
If you are one of my local Paper Pumpkin subscribers, you get to attend my monthly Paper Pumpkin parties for FREE! We’ll assemble our kits together, and talk about alternative ways to use them. It’s a great way to escape for an evening of crafting fun.
If you are not one of my subscribers, there is a $5 fee to attend. Email me for payment information: candy@stampcandy.net.
Pumpkin What?
Are you wondering just what the heck Paper Pumpkin is? Well, it’s a little box of crafting goodness that comes to you in the mail each month. Each kit includes everything you need to complete that month’s project, except scissors and adhesive – sometimes they even include adhesive! Everything is cut and measured for you so all you have to do is stamp and assemble it. The stamp sets that come with the kits are exclusive to Paper Pumpkin. You’ll never see them again. And did I mention that subscribers, and only subscribers, may purchase past kits and kit refills? So many perks to subscribing! If you’re not yet a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, and would like to see what all the fuss is about, come to one of our monthly parties and you can play with mine!
How do I get it?
Subscribing is very easy. 1) Add a prepaid subscription to any online order here. It applies toward your host rewards and your free Sale-a-bration items! 2) You’ll receive a confirmation email with a redemption code. 3) Go to the Paper Pumpkin web site here and enter the code. This is where you will enter your mailing address, etc. 4) You will soon begin receiving your kits in the mail. They usually ship mid-month.
Questions? I’m here to help you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The Fine Print
Prepaid subscriptions can be purchased on all order types: workshop, individual, or online.
Each Paper Pumpkin account can only use one redemption code at a time. For example, if you buy two six-month prepaid subscriptions, you’ll enter the first code and then after six months you’ll enter the second code.
Remember that shipping is included, so you don’t have to include shipping for a prepaid subscription on your order; however, you will need to include tax.
You can buy a prepaid subscription and give it as a gift. You just purchase the prepaid subscription and, when you receive the redemption code, share it with the recipient of your choice who can redeem the subscription at www.paperpumpkin.com.
Redemption codes will become invalid if not used within three years of the purchase date (two years for residents of California.)
Welcome to the February InKing Royalty Blog Hop. We’re excited to share projects that share inspiration for Valentine’s Day and our love of Stampin’ Up! products. This hop is all about love.
You may have started the Blog Hop here or may have hopped over from Amy Whelan at Amy’s Inklings. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next. If you get off track at any point during the blog hop, there’s a complete list of participants at the end of this post.
At each month’s Stamp Club meeting, I like to give the members a little something, just to show my love and appreciation. For the February meeting, which is today, I decorated water bottles and filled the January Paper Pumpkin bags with Valentine colored M&Ms. Aren’t they adorable?
Anyone who subscribes to Paper Pumpkin knows how amazing the kits are. Everything you need to create the project is included, except scissors and adhesive. Actually, sometimes they even include the adhesive! The projects are easy peasy, especially with included pictures and instructions. All the shapes are pre-cut. All I had to do was use the stamps and ink (included) to decorate some of the pieces and attach them to the clear bags (also included.) Such a cute way to give folks a sweet little treat!
The bottles are sooooo easy. Take the original belly band off the bottle and measure it. Cut a new belly band to fit and decorate as desired.
This particular bottle takes a 1-3/8″ wide band. I cut Basic Black background paper into 8-1/2″ x 1-3/8″ strips and adhered them with Fast Fuse. I used the Sweetheart Punch and the Modern Label Punch to cut Stacked With Love DSP. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped in Memento black ink and cut with the Word Window punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the Modern Label shape. Everything else was adhered with Fast Fuse or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Pam Morris at Tap Tap Stamp. You certainly won’t want to miss any of these projects.
The Occasions and Sale-A-Bration (OC/SB) catalogs begin on January 6 – the day after the Holiday Catalog and Supplement end. If you don’t have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator to give you the new catalogs, please contact me and I’ll get them in the mail to you!
One of the MANY perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is getting to pre-order from new catalogs. (To join my team, go to stampcandy.stampinup.net and click on Join the Fun at the top right!)
I received my first shipment of pre-ordered merchandise from the new OC/SB catalogs and I just had to start working on this new kit first thing.
It’s the Hello Life Simply Created Project Kit. You get this awesome wire frame and all the goodies you need to decorate it, including specialty papers, die cuts, twine, clothespins, and more. As I said, it will be available for everyone to order on January 6.
Here’s a little tip. When you’re separating the die cut shapes from their sheets, it can be hard to see them from the front side. Can you see the die cut hearts in the polka dot area?
There’s one.
I found that turning them over to the back side makes them much easier to see.
I haven’t completed the kit yet – I’m still waiting to get the coordinating stamp set – but I just had to share what I’ve done so far. I plan to print black & white photos of hubby to add to it. I love the combination of Basic Black, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, and Silver in the kit.
Oh, by the way, all the solid black pieces you see are chalkboard paper – even the stick on letters! The White Stampin’ Chalk Marker (132133) works great with it.
I think I will keep this hanging in my stamping studio for a very long time, changing the components and colors as I choose. I may even add a second one, hanging it from the bottom of this one. It’s a fun way to have a “bulletin board” without having to poke holes in everything with push pins!
Thanks for stopping by today, and Sweet Stamping!
P.S. Remember that tonight at midnight EST is the deadline to enter the Blog Candy drawing. To enter, go to yesterday’s post here and leave a comment telling me what your favorite items are from the Holiday Catalog and Supplement. I will post the winner tomorrow. The winner will then have until midnight EST to email me their shipping address.
I’ve been looking for something I can 1) decorate in my studio for the holidays and 2) maybe even leave up all year to showcase samples. I found this online. It’s dark brown metal, and heavy enough to hold a lot. I don’t think it’s too Christmasy to use year round. I saw it on several web sites, but Amazon.com had the best deal.
I’ve hung my Gratitude for Days Simply Created Kit around the tree, starting at the top, and it goes almost to the bottom. I fill out a card every day.
I have some of my handmade ornaments around the bottom.
And, of course, a gold glitter star box from the Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit sits on the top – I cut a hole in the bottom and slipped it over the top point of the tree.
I’ll be sharing some gift ideas in the coming days. I like to make nice presentations for all those small gifts, like things for the UPS man, etc. And Stampin’ Up! has all I need!
What are you doing to get ready for the holidays? I’d love to know!
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for the Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop! You’ll get great ideas for your Wish List.
Speaking of your Wish List, did you know that folks can buy you a Stampin’ Up! Gift Certificate? That’s right! They can purchase the gift certificate from me, then you can use it to buy your favorite Stampin’ Up! Products! Just give them my contact info and I’ll be more than happy to help them: email candy@stampcandy.net or call 404-661-5222.
