Today I’m sharing a card I made using the Petal Burst embossing folder along with the new Free as a Bird Bundle. I tool the cardstock colors from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. See the frame behind the sentiment? The Stitched Nested Labels Dies cut out a stitched shape, and leave a stitched outline on the paper it’s cut from. I couldn’t let that go to waste, now could I? I used my trimmer to cut that out, and used it as a decorative piece on my card. What do you think?

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Whisper White Thick card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Soft Suede CS cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Pool Party CS cut to 3-3/4″ x 3″
- Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3-5/8″ x 2-7/8″
- cut out around the negative space around the sentiment die cut
Stamped with the Free As A Bird stamp set:
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies:
Embossed using the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- embossed layer glued onto the front of the card base
- DSP layer glued onto the Pool Party CS layer
- Pool Party CS layer glued onto the embossed layer
- sentiment surround glued onto the DSP layer
- sentiment adhered onto the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals

This is the third card I’ve made using the new Daisy Lane stamp set. You can see the first two here and here. Sometimes I pull out a stamp set and only make one project, and sometimes I make several. I’m excited about the new Medium Daisy Punch that coordinates with this new stamp set. The current Daisy Punch, which I used today, also coordinates with it.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Thick Whisper White card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Whisper White CS layer cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White CS layer cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″
Stamped with the Daisy Lane stamp set:
- large daisy image in Smoky Slate ink (stamped off once) onto a scrap of Whisper White CS (you’ll need 3 of these)
- stem in Call Me Clover ink onto the smaller Whisper White CS layer
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink beside the stem
Punched using the Daisy Punch:
Colored using a Stampin’ Write Marker:
- center of daisies in Crushed Curry ink
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- larger Whisper White CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- smaller Whisper White CS layer glued onto the larger Whisper White CS layer
- 3 daisies glued together in the center, then glued onto the top of the stem
- a Perennial Essence Floral Center applied in the center of the top daisy

For today’s card I used the new Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards and Envelopes. You get 12 cards and 12 envelopes, all in Very Vanilla, in a beautiful Petal Pink and gold tin. I also used two new bundles: the Free as a Bird bundle (Free as a Bird stamp set and Stitched Nested Labels Dies) for the sentiment, and the Floral Essence bundle (Floral Essence stamp set and Perennial Flower Punch) for the flower. These laser cut cards are so exquisite, they really don’t need much on them. And the envelopes, which I forgot to photograph, have a pretty scalloped flap. Of course, I may have to get more just for the pretty tin box!

- Crumb Cake card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
Stamped with the Floral Essence stamp set:
- flower twice in Rococo Rose ink onto a piece of Rococo Rose CS
- flower center onto one of the flowers in Soft Suede ink
Stamped with the Free as a Bird stamp set:
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla Thick CS
Cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies:
Cut using the Perennial Flower Punch:
Colored using Clear Wink of Stella:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Crumb Cake CS glued onto the inside front of the card base (I glued it around the edges and in a few small spots throughout the laser-cut area.)
- 2 flowers glued together in the center, then glued onto the end of the sentiment
- flowers and sentiment adhered onto the front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Today you’re getting another sneak peek of some brand new products: the Daisy Lane stamp set, Garden Lane Designer Series Paper, and Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile Ribbon. I wanted to use a piece of Mossy Meadow ribbon, so I used a Stampin’ Write Marker to color a white one – the technique is an oldie but a goodie.
This is the second card I’ve made using the Daisy Lane stamp set. You can see the first one here.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Soft Sea Foam card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White CS layer cut to 3-1/4″ x 2-3/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card – This is optional, since the Soft Sea Foam CS is light enough to write on.
Stamped with the Daisy Lane stamp set:
- fern in Garden Green ink onto the Whisper White CS layer
- sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink onto the Whisper White CS layer
Colored using a Stampin’ Write Marker:
- a piece of Whisper White 1/8″ ribbon in Mossy Meadow
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- 3 pieces of ribbon (the one I colored, a piece of the same ribbon left white, and a piece of the new Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile Ribbon) folded in half and stapled onto the DSP layer (or you can staple just the ribbons together, then adhere them to the DSP layer using Mini Glue Dots)
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- stamped layer adhered onto the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- optional: Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

I used some brand new products to make today’s card. Don’t you just love sneak peeks? The Daisy Lane stamp set coordinates with the returning Daisy Punch, and will be available in a bundle (to dave 10%) with the new Medium Daisy Punch. I opted to use a lovely fern from the set instead of a daisy. I’ve used it today with the new Stitched Nested Dies, the new Flower Faceted Gems embellishments, card stock and ink in the new In Color Rococo Rose, and the returning Everyday Label Punch. I used the stamping off technique to get the graduated color effect of the leaves.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Crumb Cake card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Rococo Rose CS layer cut to 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
- Whisper White CS layer cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card
Stamped with the Daisy Lane stamp set:
- sentiment in Rococo Rose ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- leaf in Old Olive ink onto the Whisper White CS layer images, in a fan design
- NOTE: I stamped the one on the bottom left first, then without reinking, stamped the next one up and the one above that. I did the same thing on the right side, but stamped a fourth time at the very top. So the top center one is the lightest.
Cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies:
Cut using the Everyday Label Punch:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Rococo Rose CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- Whisper White CS layer glued onto the Rococo Rose CS layer
- sentiment glued onto the punched Crumb Cake CS piece
- punched Crumb Cake CS piece adhere onto the Whisper White CS layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- flower embellishment applied onto the Whisper White CS layer (this flower is actually Terracotta Tile, but is close enough to Rococo Rose for this project.)
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

I made today’s card using the Lilypad Lake stamp set and Lakeside dies. They will be carrying over to the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, but not as a bundle. So if you want them, I recommend getting them before June 3 so you can save some money.
I also used a couple the new 2019-2021 In Colors, Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock (which will be available beginning June 4, 2019) along with Pool Party, Real Red, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White.
