Today’s card is made with another brand new suite of products. I used the Free As A Bird stamp set along with the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper and Bird Ballad Trinkets to create this best friends card. I colored the stamped image using Stampin’ Write Markers.
This suite is one of the prettiest in the new catalog. It includes a stamp set, dies, paper, ribbon, trinkets, and a pretty tin full of gorgeous laser cut cards with envelopes.

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Crumb Cake card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-12″
- Shimmery White CS layer cut to 4″ x 3″
- Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to 4″ x 2-1/4″
- Pool Party CS cut to 4″ x 1/2″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Free As A Bird stamp set:
- birds on a branch image in black Stazon ink onto the Shimmery White CS layer
- sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto the Pool Party CS strip
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers and a Blender Pen:
- birds in Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral
- branch in Crumb Cake
- leaves in Old Olive
- flowers in Pool Party
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Shimmery White CS layer and DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- sentiment strip glued onto the DSP strip
- flower trinket adhered onto the Shimmery White CS layer using Mini Glue Dots
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

I made today’s card using the new A Good Man stamp set from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It contains images of men and great sentiments. I colored the image I used today using Stampin’ Blends Markers.

- sentiment in Memento black ink onto a scrap of Crumb Cake CS
Cut using the Layering Ovals Dies:

- a scrap of Soft Sea Foam CS

- man’s pants in Soft Sea Foam
- child’s shirt in Calypso Coral

- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Whisper White CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- linen thread wrapped three times around the front of the card base and tied in a knot
- sentiment glued onto the Soft Sea Foam oval
- Soft Sea Foam oval adhered onto the Whisper White CS layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

Demonstrators who attended OnStage were able to order some of the new products from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I made today’s card using a new stamp set (To a Wild Rose) and a new In Color (Rococo Rose) along with some current products. To a Wild Rose is a 3 step stamp set that creates beautiful rose and leaf images. It also has some great sentiments.

Stamped with the To a Wild Rose stamp set:
- 2 roses in So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, and Crushed Curry inks onto a piece of Whisper White CS
- 1 rose in Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Rococo Rose
- 3 rose centers in Crumb Cake ink
- 5 leaves in Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, and Garden Green inks onto a piece of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Garden Green ink onto the bottom left of the front of the card base
Cut using Paper Snips:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- leaves glued onto the front of the card base
- roses glued together, then adhered onto the front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Here are some sneak peeks from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog!
I attended OnStage (Stampin’ Up!’s convention type event) this weekend and got my copy of the new catalog! It has some amazing new products that I’m very excited about, and I know you will, too. The layout is a little different, so things are much easier to find. For example, the suites and the bundles are listed in the first few pages.
I can’t show you the inside of the catalog, but I can share photos I took of the display boards. Here are just a few of the new products. The lighting wasn’t the best, so I apologize for the less than stellar photography. Also, the humidity was incredible (and I’m from Atlanta!) so some of the papers are a bit curled.

Stamped with the Part of My Story stamp set:
- sentiment in Poppy Parade ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- just the dots from the sentiment stamp in Poppy Parade ink onto the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White CS
Cut using the brand new Story Label Punch:

- 2 pieces from a scrap of Pineapple Punch CS and 2 from a scrap of Poppy Parade CS
Embossed using the Basket Weave embossing folder:
- DSP layer
- NOTE: unfortunately the embossing doesn’t show in the photos
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon adhered onto the DSP layer with Tear & Tape, wrapping the ends around to the back of the layer
- Poppy Parade 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon adhered onto the 1/2″ ribbon with Tear & Tape, wrapping the ends around to the back of the layer
- Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon adhered onto the 1/4″ ribbon with Tear & Tape, wrapping the ends around to the back of the layer
- DSP layer adhered onto the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Poppy Parade punched shape glued onto the DSP layer, just above the ribbon
- Pineapple Punch punched shape glued onto the DSP layer, just below the ribbon
- sentiment glued to the remaining two punched pieces, then all three adhered over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals
