The new holiday mini catalog goes live August 4! I will be selling Designer Series Paper Swatch Books as well as Paper Shares, Ribbon Shares, and Embellishment Shares. This is a great way to get a little bit of everything without having to buy a whole package of everything. CLICK HERE to see all the details and to order.

If you complete the order form before July 27, I will send you an invoice on July 27, which must be paid by August 3. 

If you complete the order form between July 27 and August 3, you will pay when you place the order.

The Retiring List is Here!

Stampin' Up! 2019 Occasions catalog and 2018-2019 Annual catalog #stampcandy

 

Stampin’ Up! just released the Retiring List for the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and 2019 Occasions Catalog. If there is anything on this list you want, get it now, because these items won’t last long. 

Remember that all current “bundles” are retiring, even if the individual products are carrying over to the new catalog. But this is your last chance to get both products with the 10% bundle discount!

Also, all red rubber stamps (wood or clear mount) are on the retiring list. That’s because the ones that are carrying over to the new catalog will convert to Cling. For example, the Hold On To Hope stamp set is currently offered in wood mount and clear mount. It will be in the new catalog as a cling stamp set only. It’s listed on the retiring list, even though it is carrying over, because the format will change. The wood and clear mount stamps will be sold through June 3, or while supplies last. On June 4, or when the old format stamp sets sell out, whichever comes first, the new format stamps will start going out. 

All photopolymer stamps that are on the retiring lists are actually retiring, and will be available only through June 3, or while supplies last.

Wishing You Well

For today’s card, I created my own Designer Series Paper by stamping all over a layer of card stock in two colors with two stamps. The designs and the sentiment are from the Wishing You Well stamp set, which is available in clear mount and wood mount, while supplies last.

Here’s what I made:

Here’s what I did:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:

  • Blushing Bride card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
  • Soft Sea Foam CS layer cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Whisper White CS layer cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
  • Whisper White CS strip cut to 3-3/4″ x 3/4″x
  • Soft Sea Foam CS strip cut to 4″ x 1″
  • Blushing Bride CS strip cut to 4-1/4″ x 1-1/4″
  • Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card base

Stamped with the Wishing You Well stamp set:

  • wreath in Soft Sea Foam ink all over the Whisper White CS layer
  • flowers in Blushing Bride ink over the wreaths
  • sentiment in Blushing Bride ink onto the Whisper White CS strip

Assembled the card:

  • burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
  • Soft Sea Foam CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
  • stamped Whisper White CS layer glued onto the Soft Sea Foam CS layer
  • sentiment strip glued onto the Soft Sea Foam CS strip
  • Soft Sea Foam CS strip glued onto the Blushing Bride CS strip
  • Blushing Bride CS strip glued onto the stamped layer
  • twine tied into a bow and adhered onto the card using a Mini Glue Dot
  • Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card basex

Here are some sneak peeks from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog!

I attended OnStage (Stampin’ Up!’s convention type event) this weekend and got my copy of the new catalog! It has some amazing new products that I’m very excited about, and I know you will, too. The layout is a little different, so things are much easier to find. For example, the suites and the bundles are listed in the first few pages.

I can’t show you the inside of the catalog, but I can share photos I took of the display boards. Here are just a few of the new products. The lighting wasn’t the best, so I apologize for the less than stellar photography. Also, the humidity was incredible (and I’m from Atlanta!) so some of the papers are a bit curled.

Swatch Books:

What are Swatch Books? Just one of the greatest reference tools you can have! I use mine all the time. 

For each pack of Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the new catalog, you’ll receive a 3″ x 6″ book with a piece of each and every pattern in the pack. The books are super easy to flip through, so you can see all the paper designs front and back. And the books don’t take up a lot of space, so you can always have them with you.

You never truly know what the DSPs look like until you have them in your hand. Flip through each swatch book to see if you want to buy the whole pack!

All the coordinating colors for each DSP are listed on the back, which is very helpful:

  • when you need to know just exactly which blue is in that piece of DSP you’re using
  • when you’re looking for a DSP to use with a specific color. For example, say I’m in the mood to make a card using Lemon Lime Twist. I simply fan out the books to see which ones list Lemon Lime Twist on the back, which is easy since the colors are listed in alphabetical order. Then those are the books I flip through to choose a DSP for my card.

There are 20 DSPs in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, so each set has 20 books containing regular and Specialty DSPs. $45 includes shipping.
