Today I’m sharing yet another card from my Eastern Palace one sheet wonder. You can see more here, here, here, here, and here. I love the masculine colors of this set, as well as the exotic images, and feminine font. It’s a little something for everyone! And the Eastern Beauty Bundle (Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies) helps you create amazing projects.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Dapper Denim card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, then cut in half diagonally, from corner to corner
- Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″, then cut in half diagonally, from corner to corner. I did need to trim a smidge, just about 1/6″, from the longest side of the triangle so the Very Vanilla CS would look the same all the way around it.
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/2″ for the inside of the card
Stamped with the Eastern Beauty stamp set:
- sentiment and dotted circle in Tranquil Tide ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS
Die cut using the Layering Circles:
Assembled the card:
- DSP triangle glued onto Very Vanilla CS triangle
- Very Vanilla CS triangle glued onto front of the Dapper Denim card base
- sentiment adhered to DSP triangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon tied onto a Tranquil Tide mini tassel, then adhered to card front with Mini Glue Dots
- Very Vanilla CS glued to inside of the card base

ICS’ theme for our June blog hop is “It’s A Guy Thing.” We’re showcasing cards for Birthdays, Father’s Day, or any other occasion for which you may need a male card. I decided to go with a general “You’re The Best” sentiment, so this card can be used for almost any occasion, depending on what you write on the inside. It’s almost a monochromatic card, the Old Olive broken up only by a bit of Whisper White.
The Glitter Enamel Dots on the left side of the card front may seem like they’re getting their colors from the graduated Designer Series Paper (DSP) underneath, but they actually come that way. These are terrific new embellishments that match the new Color Theory DSP perfectly, but you can use them with many different Stampin’ Up! products.

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Old Olive card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 pieces: one for card front and one for inside)
- Color Theory Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″
Stamped with the Label Me Pretty stamp set:
- sentiment and outline shape in Old Olive ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Cut using the Pretty Label Punch:
Assembled the card:
- sentiment adhered to DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Glitter Enamel Dots in graduated shades of Old Olive applied to DSP (I used a ruler to line up the dots)
- DSP glued to first Whisper White CS layer
- first Whisper White CS layer glued onto front of Old Olive card base
- second piece of Whisper White CS glued to inside of card base

And now for today’s project. I put this treat together in no time. I made it using the new Wood Textures Suite on pages 158-159 in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, Wood Crate Framelits, Wood Words stamp set, Copper Trim, and 3″ x 6″ Gusseted Cellophane Bags.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Die cut using the Wood Crate Framelits:
- 2 of the crate pieces from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Stamped with the Wood Words stamp set:
- “Hello Friend” in Whisper White Craft ink onto one of the crate’s slats
- “Farmers Market” in Whisper White Craft ink onto both ends of the crate
- NOTE: I used my Heat Tool to dry the ink.
Assembled the crate:
- tabs on each die cut piece glued onto the other die cut piece, to create the crate
- goldfish crackers (Parmesan is my favorite flavor) put in a 3″ x 6″ Gusseted bag, then tied it closed with a piece of Copper Trim, tying it in a bow
- Copper Trim pulled along its length to widen it
- NOTE: the Copper Trim is a thin mesh tube that you can use as is, or you can pull on the sides to make it wider, which consequently makes it shorter in length. You can also put things inside the tube. Keep checking back to see examples.
- bag of goldfish put into the crate – Voila!

This is the third of twelve cards I made from one sheet of Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper. I have so enjoyed playing with this great suite of products, including the eastern Palace DSP, the Eastern Beauty stamp set, and the Easter Medallions Thinlits Dies.
Through May 31, you can buy these products in two different bundles that include even more products, including free ones! Scroll down to see the Starter Bundle and the Premier Bundle. All these products will be available after May 31, but this amazing deal won’t!
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Thick Very Vanilla card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Tranquil Tide CS cit to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Eastern Palace DSP cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
Stamped with the Eastern Beauty stamp set:
- sentiment in White Craft ink onto the DSP (after cutting in a curvy line – see below)
- used Heat Tool to dry ink thoroughly
Die cut using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits:
- larger medallion fro Dapper Denim CS
- smaller medallion from Very Vanilla CS
Die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits:
- center circle from Tranquil Tide CS
Assembled the card:
- used Paper Snips to cut the DSP in half in a curvy line (then stamped on sentiment – see above)
- DSP half glued onto Tranquil Tide CS, lining up the straight sides
- used Paper Snips to cut the CS along the curves of the DSP
- used Paper Snips to cut the larger Dapper Denim medallion from its surroundings, making points where it was connected
- smaller Very Vanilla medallion glued onto center of larger medallion
- Tranquil Tide circle glued onto center of Very Vanilla medallion
- medallion stack glued onto front of card base
- DSP/CS stack adhered to front of card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 10-1/2″ x 10″
- with 10-1/2″ side at the top, scored at 2″, 5″, 7″, and 10″
- with 10″ side at the top, scored at 2″
Stamped with the Label Me Pretty stamp set:
- used Stampin’ Write Markers in Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Calypso Coral to color the stamp, then stamped image onto Whisper White card stock (CS)

Cut using the Pretty Label Punch:
Assembled the bag:
- all scored lines folded
- used Paper Snips to cut the short vertical score lines up to the horizontal score line (see diagram below)
- used Paper Snips to cut away the smallest corner rectangle (blue area on diagram)
- applied glue to the outside of the 1/2″ tab and adhered it to the inside of the other end
- folded in four bottom flaps and glued together – I prefer to fold in the back first, then the two sides, and the front flap last.
- adhered stamped/punched piece to front of bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- folded over top of bag and tied a piece of ribbon around it
