The new Southern Serenade stamp set has some useful, and pretty, sentiments along with some flower images and lace images. Image what all you can do with that! For today’s card I’ve paired it with the new Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Shimmer Ribbon, and Mini Sequin Trim to create a lovely Happy Birthday card

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Pool Party card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Basic Black CS cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
Stamped with the Southern Serenade stamp set:
- lace design in Powder Pink, Pool Party, ad Crushed Curry inks onto the DSP
- sentiment in Basic Black ink onto a scrap of Powder Pink CS
Die cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits:
- sentiment
- Basic Black CS oval one size up from the sentiment
Assembled the card:
- Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon adhered to the DSP with both ends wrapped around to the back
- Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon adhered to the DSP with both ends wrapped around to the back
- Black Mini Sequin Trim glued along the line where the two ribbon meet
- DSP blued onto the Basic Black CS layer
- Basic Black CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- sentiment glued onto the Basic Black CS oval
- Basic Black CS oval adhered to the DSP, over the ribbons, with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- applied Enamel Shapes (dots) in Crushed Curry and Pool Party around the sentiment

The Sweet Little Something stamp set was one of the first I wanted to try from the new 2018 Occasions Catalog. I used it to make today’s card, which could be used for a baby or young child or even for a baby shower. Make the same card in different colors for a different feel. Maybe Pink Pirouette, Flirty Flamingo, and Berry Burst for a girl? The see through photopolymer stamps make it easy as pie to line up the three stamps to create the photorealistic image.
It’s National Cuddle Up Day! Wouldn’t you love to cuddle up with this sweet little cuddly bunny?

Sometimes a stamp set comes along that you like, but a couple of the stamps in the set you absolutely love. Today’s card is made with one of those. The set is called A Good Day, and it’s full of sweet sentiments and images.
I like everything in the set, but I’m in love with the bunny image. There’s something about the expression on its face. To me it looks like it has just stomped its foot, and now has that tight lipped expression, like it’s trying not to say what it really thinks. Or maybe it’s just concerned about something. Or questioning. No, I think it’s miffed – but in the cutest possible way.
Another new product I used is a 3″ x 4″ card from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack, which is a Level 1 Sale-A-Bration item that you can get for FREE with a $50 order!

It’s National Trivia Day! So here’s some bunny trivia: The American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) recognizes 48 unique rabbit breeds. The British Rabbit Council (BRC) recognizes over 60 breeds.

- Berry Burst card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/2″
- Calypso Coral CS layer cut to 4-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
- Old Olive CS layer cut to 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 2-1/2″ x 1/2″ for the sentiment
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside
Stamped with the A Good Day stamp set:
- bunny in Basic Gray ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- top part of bunny in Basic Gray ink onto the large piece of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Berry Burst ink onto the Whisper White CS strip
Colored using Stampin’ Write Markers:
- bows of both bunnies in Berry Burst
- ears of both bunnies in Pink Pirouette
Cut using Scallop Circle Punches:
- bunny with the 1-1/8″ punch
- scrap of Old Olive CS with the 1-3/8″ punch
Assembled the card:
- folded the card base along the score line, and burnished it with a Bone Folder
- sentiment strip glued onto the 4″ x 3″ Memories & More (M&M) card
- bunny glued onto the Old Olive circle
- Old Olive circle adhered to the M&M card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- M&M card glued onto Old Olive CS layer
- Old Olive CS layer glued onto Calypso Coral CS layer
- Calypso Coral CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- Whisper White CS glued to the inside of the card base

This is the second card I’ve made using the Bubble Over Bundle – you can see the first one here. I really like these products. They’re fun and colorful and fit so many different occasions. The main reason I chose it for today’s card is because today is National Drinking Straw Day! So what could be more perfect than a card with drinking straws on it?

- the other bottle cap glued to the coral DSP layer at the bottom of the other bottle
- coral DSP layer glued to the blue DSP layer
- blue DSP layer glued to the front of the card base
- adhered sentiment banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center and glue on the ends

Last month I attended Stampin’ Up!’s huge OnStage event in Salt Lake City. There are some super fun products in the Occasions catalog, and some even have coordinating products in the SAB catalog! Today I’m sharing a card I made at OnStage using some of those coordinating products: the Bubble Over Bundle (Bubble Over stamp set and Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies) and the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper. The new Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes near the mouth of the bottle to look like bubbles coming out the top. All these new products will be available for you to order beginning tomorrow!

- Bermuda Bay card stock (CS) cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Lemon Lime Twist CS or Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3″ x 4″
- Bubbles & Fizz DSP cut to 3-3/4″ x 3/4″ (4 different pieces)
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/2″, for the inside
Stamped with the Bubble Over stamp set:
- bottle in Lemon Lime Twist ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- bottom bottle tag in Lemon Lime Twist ink stamped off once or in Calypso Coral ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- top tag in Calypso Coral ink stamped off or Bermuda Bay ink stamped off onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sentiment in Calypso Coral or Bermuda Bay ink onto the top tag
- bubbles in Lemon Lime Twist ink on the 3″ x 4″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist CS

Whether you go out partying all night or just run around the corner for a minute, please be careful out there. I hope you all have a very happy – and safe – New Year’s Eve.
On December 17, I hosted the December Candy Hearts Team Meeting and Christmas Shindig. We had a lot of fun with demonstrations, Make & Takes, yummy food, and talking – and yes there was a whole lot of laughing. Our swap theme was New Year’s, so today I’m sharing the Hearts’ swap cards. I know you’ll agree with me when I say that these are some very talented card makers.
Here’s what they made:
Debbie’s card has a Whisper White card base and a layer of Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper. It includes Year of Cheer Washi Tape & Embellishments, a Foil Snowflake, and a sentiment from the Cheer to the Year stamp set cut with the Pretty Label Punch.
Judy’s card has a Berry Burst card base with a layer of Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper. 2018 has been cut from the DSP layer with the Large Numbers Framelits Dies, then adhered with Foam Adhesive Strips. This is the Eclipse Technique. Metallic Edged Berry Burst Ribbon (a sneak peek from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog) and a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set are the final touches.
Great minds think alike! Lonita also used the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper and a Foil Snowflake, but her card has a Basic Black card base. The sentiment is heat embossed on a piece of Basic Black card stock, and layered with a circle cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and the snowflake. A piece of Silver Sequin Trim finishes off the design.
