Today I’m sharing my May swap card for our Candy Hearts team meeting. The theme was masculine cards. I used the new A Good Man stamp set along with 3 products from the new Come Sail Away Suite: Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Sail Away Trinkets, and Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine.

Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Night of Navy card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Sahara Sand CS layer cut to 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
- Very Vanilla CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the A Good Man stamp set:
- image in Night of Navy ink onto the Sahara Sand CS layer
- sentiment in Sahara Sand ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS
Cut using the Classic Label Punch:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- tied a piece of twine onto an anchor trinket
- adhered the anchor onto the DSP layer using a Mini Glue dot
- twine wrapped around to the back of the layer, adhering it to the back using Tear & Tape
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- right end of sentiment glued onto the the Sahara Sand CS layer
- Sahara Sand CS layer and sentiment adhered onto the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Very Vanilla CS glued onto the inside of the card base

- adhered over the sprigs using Stampin’ Dimensionals

- Everything is Rosy Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4″ x 4-1/2″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/2″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Everything is Rosy stamp set:
- sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto the front of the card base
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Melon Mambo 1/4″ Ruched Ribbon adhered onto the DSP layer using Tear & Tape, and the ends wrapped around to the back of the layer
- a smaller piece of ribbon tied in a knot around the first piece
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- 2 rose gold mirror embellishments applied to the front of the card base, one on either side of the sentiment
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

I CASEd today’s card from one on page 41 of the new 2019-2020 annual catalog. I used the Garden Lane Suite (Verdant Garden stamp set and Garden Lane Designer Series Paper) along with the Leaf Punch, Darling Label Punch, and Rectangle Stitched Dies. The new Verdant Garden stamp set. I never would have thought to put Mossy Meadow and Mint Macaron together, but they really do work. That’s one of the (many) things I love about the patterned papers – the designers coordinate colors that I wouldn’t have thought to.

- Mossy Meadow card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Mint Macaron CS layer cut to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Mossy Meadow CS layer cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Garden Lane Designer Series Paper layer cut to 3″ x 4-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Cut using the Rectangle Stitched Dies:
- the center out from the Mossy Meadow CS layer
Stamped with the Verdant Garden stamp set:
- sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- vine pattern in Mossy Meadow ink around the edges of the Mossy Meadow CS layer
Cut using the Leaf Punch:
- three times from a scrap of Old Olive vellum
Cut using the Darling Label Punch:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the back of the Mossy Meadow CS layer, so it shows through the die cut hole
- Mossy Meadow CS layer glued onto the Mint Macaron CS layer
- Mint Macaron CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- leaves adhered to the back of the sentiment using Tear & Tape
- sentiment adhered onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Mint Macaron twine tied in a bow and adhered onto the sentiment using a Mini Glue Dot
- Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

I used some products the new Mosaic Mood Suite to make today’s card: Memorable Mosaic stamp set, Timeless Label Punch, Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper, and Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile Ribbon. The paper has shiny embossed images on one side and matte images on the other. The large images are super easy to fussy cut with snips. I CASEd a card from page 119 of the 2019-2020 annual catalog. I made my nest by separating about 2′ each of Crumb Cake twine and Linen Thread into individual strands. Then I wrapped them around my fingers to create a circle, or wreath shape. - Very Vanilla CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card base
Stamped with the Memorable Mosaic stamp set:
- sentiment in Crushed Curry ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS
- round design in Terracotta Tile ink all over the Terracotta Tile CS layer
Cut using the Timeless Label Punch:
Cut using Paper Snips:
- hummingbird from a piece of the DSP
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP layer glued onto the front of the card base
- Terracotta Tile CS layer glued over the DSP layer
- Crumb Cake twine and Linen Thread separated into individual strands and wrapped around my fingers to make a nest
- nest adhered using Tear & Tape
- Mint Macaron ribbon folded in half and adhered onto the back of the sentiment using Tear & Tape
- sentiment/ribbon adhered over the nest using Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center of the nest and Tear & Tape over the nest itself
