Sometimes I forget about all the great products Stampin’ Up! sells. Like the Note Cards & Envelopes. They make super quick work of creating a card. I used them for today’s birthday card made with Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper and the Eclectic Expressions stamp set. This stamp set is FREE with a $50 order, but only through March 31!
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Berry Burst card stock (CS) cut to 4″ x 2-1/2″
- Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″
- DSP (confetti) cut to 5-1/2″ x 3″ for the envelope
Stamped with the Eclectic Expressions stamp set:
- sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
- sprinkles in Peekaboo Peach ink onto the front of a Whisper White Note Card
Cut using Paper Snips:
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the note card base with a Bone Folder
- Berry Burst CS layer glued onto the front of the note card
- DSP layer (cookies) glued onto the Berry Burst CS layer
- sentiment adhered to the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- strip of DSP (confetti) glued to the flap of the envelope, then the excess trimmed away with Paper Snips

Today I get to share with you yet another card made one of my Candy Hearts team members, Debbie Catlett, for our February swap. She used the Amazing You stamp set (FREE with a $50 order, but only through March 31!), the Lovely Wishes Stamp set, Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, and Stampin’ Blends Markers to create this stunning card
Here’s what she made:
Here’s what (I think) she did:
Cut and scored with her Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Daffodil Delight card stock (CS) cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″, then scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Soft Suede CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 4″ x 2″
- Whisper White CS cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card
Stamped with the Amazing You stamp set:
- flowers in Memento Black ink onto the Whisper White CS layer
- one flower in Memento Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Stamped with the Lovely Wishes stamp set:
- sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits:
- sentiment with a stitched circle die
Colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers:
- all flowers using the Dark and Light Daffodil Delight Markers
Cut using Paper Snips:
- the flower stamped onto a Scrap of Whisper White CS
Assembled the card:
- folded and burnished the score line in the card base with a Bone Folder
- Soft Suede CS layer glued onto the front of the card base
- stamped Whisper White CS layer glued onto the Soft Suede CS layer
- DSP glued onto the stamped layer
- sentiment glued onto the DSP
- loose flower adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- bow tied with Linen Thread, then adhered to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot
- Glitter Enamel Dot applied to the center of the loose flower
- 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White CS glued onto the inside of the card base

Want to tell a music fan they’re awesome? The Epic Celebrations stamp set is just what you need. This terrific set is FREE with a $50 order, but only until March 31, 2018! Brusho Crystal Colour provided the psychedelic tie-dyed effect in the background. Guitars are made of wood, right? Well, most of them anyway. So this guitar was stamped onto a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, then fussy cut with Paper Snips. I hope you think it’s groovy, man.
Epic Celebrations Stamp Set © Stampin’ Up!
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Whisper White thick card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Basic Black CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Crushed Curry CS cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
Colored using the Brusho Crystal Colour:
- Crushed Curry CS layer in Prussian Blue and Brilliant Red
- NOTE: I lightly spritzed the paper first, then sprinkled on the Brusho
Stamped with the Epic Celebrations stamp set:
- guitar in Basic Black ink onto a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- sentiment in Basic Black ink onto the Crushed Curry layer, after the Brusho has dried completely
Fussy Cut using the Paper Snips:
Colored using a Stampin’ Write Marker:
- parts of the guitar in Crumb Cake
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the thick Whisper White card base with a Bone Folder
- Basic Black CS layer glued onto the front of the Whisper White card base
- Crushed Curry CS layer glued onto the Basic Black CS layer
- guitar adhered to the Crushed Curry layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals

What’s black and white and red all over? Today’s card made using the Epic Celebrations Sale-A-Bration stamp set. It’s perfect for a teenager, or anyone who feels like a teenager, or just someone who really likes Chuck Taylors. It’s a great way to let someone know you think they’re awesome. It can be used for a birthday, thank you, or just because. Tuck it into someone’s lunch, briefcase, backpack, or even under their pillow.
Here’s what I made:
Here’s what I did:
Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Basic Black card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ , then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Real Red CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
Stamped with the Epic Celebration stamp set:
- shoes in Basic Black ink onto the 5″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White CS layer
- sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White CS
Cut using Paper Snips:
- sentiment
- scrap of Real Red CS 1/4″ larger that the sentiment
- scrap of Basic Black CS 1/4″ larger that the Real Red CS piece
Colored using the Stampin’ Write Markers:
- one pair of shoes in Real Red
- inside of that pair of shoes in Smoky Slate
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the Basic Black CS card base with a Bone Folder
- Real Red CS layer glued onto Basic Black card base with liquid glue
- Whisper White CS onto Real Red CS with liquid glue
- Whisper White layer with sentiment onto small Real Red layer with liquid glue
- Small Real Red layer glued onto small Basic Black layer with liquid glue
- Sentiment layers onto card front with Stampin’ dimensionals

Have you seen the new second release Sale-A-Bration items? If not, you can see the brochure HERE. I used two of the new items on today’s thank you card: Eclectic Expressions stamp set and Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper. The stamp set has some great images as well as sentiments. The paper is just spectacular. I know that no photo can do it justice. Each sheet has foil designs, and some are even Rose Gold Foil! Gorgeous! Be sure to place your qualifying order before March 31!
Here’s what I made:

Cut and scored with my Stampin’ Trimmer:
- Basic Black card stock (CS) cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ , then scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Basic Black CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 1″
- Whisper White CS cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card
Stamped with the Eclectic Expressions stamp set and Stamparatus:
- masked top part of sentiment and inked it up with Versamark ink, then heat embossed it in gold
- cleaned the stamp, masked the bottom part of sentiment, inked it up with Versamark ink, then heat embossed it in silver
- NOTE: For masking off part of a stamp, I use Post-It tape, but you can use a regular sticky note as well.
Assembled the card:
- burnished the fold in the card base with a Bone Folder
- DSP adhered onto the front of the card base with Tear & Tape
- sentiment strip adhered onto the DSP with Tear & Tape
- Whisper White CS glued to the inside of the card base
